can we get an update of the graph outlining the ranks of all reach players?

Yeah thanks to the most recent update by Bungie...No more enemy WEAPONS/GRENADES is possible in Sniper Attack. STUPID BUNGIE :(

In the text it talks about cheating with the achievements. So basically you can do the Gruntapocalypse/rocket trick, and you can do the revert to last save trick in ONI Sword base, but you can't just use the disable wifi trick? (According to Youtube: To perfform, find an achievement that 1) requires killing enemies in a campaign mode, and 2) rewards high credits. Get 1 enemy away from completing the achievement, and then get a checkpoint. Kill the required enemy, get the achievement, unplug your wifi as soon as you see the notification, and click "Revert to last save". Plug in your wifi again, and you will find you can do it again, and still get the credit reward.) I have to admit that this is tempting, as I am STILL a Warrant Officer, and it takes FOREVER to get to the next rank. This trick would be nice, but if it's illegal, I'll stick to ONI.

Dear sir or ma'am: Ive read ur weekly review. Im at max rank and some of the armor I have to be the commander and so forth. When can we as halo fans players go past Lt. Colonel Grade 3. Can all help us halo players on the max rank lift so we push forwards and have all possible armor or equipment. Other than that problem for us halo fans keep up with the good work. My gamertag is angel6damon9 if u want t send a message

I had the same problem and read in a later forum to delete my gamertag and recover it, i found this worked fine and now have Reach as a completed game :D

i noticed the droppod video an was excited because i thought it was me in the video. the guys in the vehicle looked like they knew it was coming and prepared for it to crush them just to make the video. however when it happened to me it was 100% WTF momment and unexpected. its in my fileshare too.

WOOT I reached 49 of 49 achievements in Halo: Reach with mye "Make it Rain" achievement on September 26th, 2010 :D exactly 1 year after earning 79 of 79 achievements with my "Blades of Fury" Achievement on September 26th, 2009. Just thought that would be some cool info to share lol

I sure hope you change your minds and release the cap soon, as opposed to "in a month or two." I like working my way THROUGH the ranks. Now I have been capped for a while and I have two choices: 1. Stop playing (in which case I might end up finding a new favorite game), or B. Keep playing and risk jumping straight through a few ranks. If it is indeed in a month or two I will likely go from the current max rank into the next max rank immediately, and that would suck. So please, you have your security, and have found a way to punish the glitchers. So let us have our fun, and our ranks! PLEEEEEEAAAASE?

I just completed "A monument to all your sins" last night, and I have to admit, it was tough. However, here are a few simple tips to guarantee your achievement. 1) Be Patient. Move slowly through these missions. Clear out enemies from a distance. You'll be much safer. 2) Don't be afraid of the plasma pistol. This thing saved my skin more times than I can count. They're practically everywhere, too, so you won't be without one when you run into those Ultra Elites. The same goes for the needler. They take out Brutes very easily. 3) Conserve your ammo. Don't waste an entire DMR clip on two grunts. Aim carefully, and use a pistol if you have one. There are plenty of Assault Rifles and shotguns, but DMRs are hard to find in the campaign. 4) Armor Abilities. It really depends on what kind of player you are, but I got the most use out of the Drop shield and Sprint. Sprint will actually get you through small groups of enemies and let you tell the tale. However, the Drop Shield is the best thing I've ever used. When deployed it heals you, and recharges your shields. No more looking around for a health pack. You've got one equipped already! 5) Finally, take your advanced enemies out one by one. Those last three elites on "The Pillar of Autumn" are awful if you try to take more than one out at a time. Aim carefully, use your plasma pistol, and be careful. I certainly hope these tips help! Good luck, and Godspeed.

Only time solo legendary was hard was when I ran out of DMR or Needle Rifle ammo, and watching my friend play I realized that I am blind and missed a bunch of caches so it should have been much easier. Also if you haven't realized it yet pea shooter is your friend and makes it pretty easy.

I just reached the rank cap in Halo Reach today. I am happy to find out that my credits are still secretly going towards my next rank, although I won't see it until the cap is raised. I would have been a little bummed if all I was doing was increasing my bank account, haha, although that isn't such a bad thing with how expensive some items are. I look forward to the communal efforts to lift the cap. If it happens soon though, I can safely say I won't be skipping over any ranks.

Im one of the lucky few who has earned "A Monument to all your Sins" i finished Sept 15th at 12:37am and it was a very difficult exp. I even ran out of ammo and fought two hunters on the last level bare handed. The tips are easy: !. Elites have that name for a reason: They can, and WILL, kill you with very little effort and since playing on Legendary means you will fight maybe half a dozen Elite minors that leaves the majority to be Ultras if not Zealot class. Plasma weapons are your friend in this case as Ultras and above have powerful shields that can sometimes take more than 2 plasma overcharges to beat but there is a way. First soften them up with grenades if u have plasma the better since it will knock down their shields better than Frags will. Then hit them with plasma if you can not use a plasma pistol use a repeater or rifle in its stead. And then finally go for the killing blow, use precision weapons like the DMR or Needle rifle to take down with one shot. However, while the DMR is a awesome instrument of death, the needle rifle does have the added ability of the super combine which will help when you are either in a bind or you arent quite proficent in your headshot abilities quite yet. 2.Be aware of your surroundings: Bungie has designed Reach to give you a fighting chance aganist your enemy sometimes going down the wrong hallway could lead you to an ammo box filled with Grenade Launchers or health packs. Take mission 3 for example, when playing on Normal, most people just run forward not requiring much cover since Noble 6 is a living breathing grim reaper and they just mow down the enemy to get to the target locator and continue the level. But this does not work on higher difficulties. If you took the high road to the left and continued down the terrace you will notice a Sniper rifle with decent cover to deliver enough firepower to take down the big Elites in the area before moving on. 3.Pick your battles wisely: Just because you can fight, doesnt mean you should fight. There are many ways to handle the enemies in Reach but going in guns blazing isnt one that will keep you alive long. I recommend using the terrain to your advantage. There are multiple levels where large groups can be bypassed in order to complete your mission and the 3rd Mission of the game is one very level. While it may seem to agienst nature to NOT fight sometimes getting around your enemy so you can get yourself better equipped or have better ground will help you in the long run. 4. Control, control, control: Learn to pulse fire or burst fire your automatics. Now with the new recoil system, firing fully automatic without any breaks will just lead to you wasting your ammo (unless they are within spiting range in which case go CQC and then pump them full of lead). Fire in short 4-5 round bursts this will ensure accurate shots and conserve the very limited ammo that you will find. Another thing is to control your own impulses. The melee attack isnt what it used to be as it will not kill an enemy if its shield's are up and most of the bigger enemies (Elites,Brutes,Hunters etc...) will not die from just one melee hit and since melee strikes not have delay between them it will be hard to fend off an attacker if your shield's are down and your melee has failed (most Ultra's can kill you with just one melee to your unshielded body). Might I suggest using your melee and then hitting them with fully automatic fire while aiming at their upper torso this will ensure the full amount of damage is being done to them. 5. FORKLIFTS SUCK!!!!: DO NOT USE THEM NOT EVEN FOR COVER AS THEY CAN AND WILL EXPLODE SINCE ALL ENEMY AI BOTS ARE GRENADE SPAMMERS AND THEY LOVE TO SET BIGGER THINGS ON FIRE!!! 6. Use your armor abilities...correctly: Each armor abilities has its time and place. Sprint is obvious from getting to point A to Point B fast without 4 wheels, Armor lock makes you invulnerable to harm but because the AI is alil smarter than you they tend to stand at a reasonable distance and wait for you to unlock so they can unload on you in masse. The most useful armor ability is Drop Shield. Not only is it a portable health pack, but its also a backup shield. When your shields drop and there are enemies in front of you, activate it and run out the back of the shield for better cover or you can wait inside till your own shields recharge until it either runs out or the enemy takes it out. I recommend the former rather than the ladder as it puts you in full control of the outcome since your facing the enemy on your time not theirs. Those are some basic tactics that I used to get the achievement. If anyone has any other suggestions I would love to hear them get a nice discussion going. If its just troll responses I will not pay attention and ignore you.

This is a life saver for campaign on legendary. I found out that when you have to destroy those nasty antiaircraft guns, by killing everybody around and finaly making it inside that if instead you just shoot it with your vehicle as soon as it comes in sight it will blow up after about a minute. It also kills about half or more of the enemies in the explosion. Saved me hours in total. So ya there ya go. Hope it helps.
