just fyi i'm having tons of fun in the beta! i just hope that there are more armor customizations in the full game this fall. also, i realize that the elites are supposed to be able to run faster and jump higher, but the spartans jump more like an ODST than Master Chief. and i realize that at this point the reticule bloom isn't gonna be taken out, but it really doesn't make sense for spartans. if they can lift a warthog, you would think they would be strong enough to keep control of their gun. can't think of any other complaints. did i mention it's fun? Let me just throw my two cents out there if Bungie is listening after my experience with the beta, and please take these seriously: I would replace (on oddball games) "ball dropped" with something else; it's somewhat suggestive. I would dumb down the frag grenades; they are WAY overpowered. I would remove sky limits for jetpacks, because you lose your forward momentum whenever you hit the ceiling. Carrying the flag makes you much too slow; I'd speed up the flag carrying a bit, as well as the oddball. I'd make the score accessible before the game starts and between rounds, when there's the box that says "score 150 points" or "50 kills" because you can then mute others before the gameplay begins without wasting time. I personally would get rid of the whole moving while camo'd makes you visible thing. It's good that you become visible while you use a weapon, but moving makes the whole thing worthless. This way it could be an offensive as well as defensive power. You could even make it last shorter. I would improve the sticky targeting. When it comes to using the precision rifle as well as the needle rifle, it's much to challenging to "four shot" someone like you could with a BR. I would remove the one melee to the back to kill them assassinations, and instead entirely rely on the assassination animations. If you have both, the animation is worthless. I would change the HUD for the grenades. As is, I noticed I never felt the desire to pull out the stickies for the purpose of sticking people but rather just to use to clear an area. I'd make the grenade HUD more like in Halo 2 and 3. I know it's a big new feature for Reach, but I much preferred the system in H3 of viewing service records over the new way of everyone being put in a list together when you press right while in the matchmaking room. If I want to see what someone looks like, I want to see it individually, not while everyone is together. Besides, you can't view the voting poll when you're doing that. As Ryuk mentioned, I would either make sprint longer or make it available for all classes. I would make a setting in the start menu that allows you to choose a favorite ability so that whenever the game starts, the cursor is always selecting that ability. "Preferred Ability" perhaps? This is just a little addition, not really a suggestion...but I really really don't like health packs. It was a bad idea in Halo CE it's a bad idea now. You had it right in H3. I would change the medal for "Opportunist" because that smiley face isn't cute. The killjoy medal is cute. I'd change the opportunist picture to actually have to do with the medal. In the post game stats, I'd get rid of the medal list altogether and replace it with what you had in H3. I'd like to know how many of each medal I got. I'd make the hills (KotH) taller so that you could be flying just above the ground and still be in them, but not at risk of getting assassinated by a camo. That's all I've got. If any other posters agree with me, please say so in a response. Overall, great work Bungie!

i've re-downloaded the Beta atleast 7-8 times, and it still isnt working for me, what do you suggest?, i have the ODST disc...

i don't know about halo reach it looks good but sprint is ehh how theres a class for running you should just have that for everything and you don't really run the time is too short you dont really get that far either. dude be thankful we get it at all, and that its free. bungie is to good to us players. besides this isnt really just for us to play and goof off. itS for bungie to extract data, and to basically fix any glitches or such. but its amazing. BUNGIE<3

the Beta is great and all but... it's not Halo anymore... so, bungie really disapointed me with this, if it whould be more like Halo Combat Evolved or Halo 2 it whould be great, but this... is not halo, sorry but it's true and im not even going to buy this game.

I know this sounds like im complaning but when im in a match and its a bout to load it restarts the search and im like what the -blam!- it doesnt make sense and there are alot of loading failures you might want to look into it Bungie

longer amour lock maybe 3 extra secs cause noobs wait right behind me and get on my nerves but most of the time i ninja them amour lock bad jet pack good sprint ok stealth -rating 3

The Beta right now is kinda bad, no offence you should have made the servers bigger...

dont close the download bar just watch it. its borin like but getts it done. not the thing works tho

it there a problem with the reach server as i am unable to use the beta. i just get 1 of 2 messages, either halo reach server is unavailable at this time plase try later or parts are pendind download

this beta is the WORST thing that happend to halo since halo wars you need to make the ranking system like halo 3 again and bring back the br and the original and dont forget the pistol and take out the powerups halo was always a competetive game now you guys are making it like call of duty noob friendly im just voicing my opinion

i have tried to playt and i got one game in and after i finished that game i tried to join some friend to play and have some fun but ended up none of us could play it kept telling us a few messges like not avalable or loading and never allowed us to play and then i left there party to go play on my own since i couldnt play with them just to relize i still cant bc i am getting that error now by myself so .... this sucks fix ur servers

I started downloading the beta and just as I went back to dashboard it gives me: "Download stopped..." and when I press guide button it gives me: "Can't download the item" or something like that... tried couple of times already, what could be the reason? Maybe too much traffic?

i am soo annoyed now thanks a million bungie! right basicaly i was downloading the beta it got to 87% then i droped my pad, and quit out of the download becuase someting must of hit the B button and completly rest the download! now its saying its at 99 and has been doing for the last 20 mins now bunige sort that glitch out!
