Got Kicked From a Raid Group......
Because i Didnt Have a 320 Spindle??? Are you -blam!-ing Serious ? Mind you I Have a 320 Sleeper and a 319 1000kyd With Triple Tap and Mulligan . Like come on -__- . Like the Damn Gally All Over again. I do a Tremendous amount of DPS with this combo with Tether/WoL . AND THE REST OF THE TEAM HAD SPINDLES!! Do you know how Badly the Boss Would have gotten Burned had they just Took me without my Spindle ? -blam!-ing Elitist Get on my Nerves. [spoiler]I have a 310 Spindle, i just dont think its worth my Exotic slot TBH .[/spoiler]
Edit: I wasnt being argumentive torwars the group or anything . We were in orbit they checked my loadout and said if you dont have a 320 Spindle we have to kick you . I said i didnt have one they kicked me and that was that .
Edit: I See alot of people agree with me on the Sleeper/ 1000YD combo , Some dont , But It also take into account your overall light level and Everything .
Edit: Why does the Spindle have to be the only Option for the Raid ? Everyone that disagrees making it seem like its the only option for the Golgoroth ans Warpriest Encounters.

Edit:: Im Talking About Golgoroth And Warpriest . Deathsingers( Sisters) Its a No Brainer for the ToM and Terminus(Preferably) . Oryx , Usually ToM( Or whatever you comfortable with ) and Whatever Heavy , But Yeah You get the Point .
Edit:: Its All About Preference Guys . Im not saying one gun is better than the other, im saying I prefer the 1000YD / Sleeper Combo Than the Spindle. Thats All Lol.

Sleeper is better for daughters if your going to the middle(less bouncy), good for warpriest and oryx. Spindle really shines in golgoroth fright with an extremely accessible crit point. Honestly I prefer my sleeper, but for golgoroth it's just too good to pass up the spindle.

The raid is a joke. I started testing out different guns just for the fun of it because it's that simple. I exclusively run with red death on oryx because I simply don't need the touch of malice. Only the Titans on ogre duty need that. I'd rather have a weapon that will keep me alive on those podiums thank you very much. Pfft people who are like "you need this exact gun" are just shit and are asking to be carried. If you have a sniper you're welcome in my group. Oh and if that party was running 5 black spindles and still needed a sixth to complete it, I wouldn't run with them. I have done Golgoroth and war priest with 3 other people. Yes that totals 4. I'm sure many others have too. It's not hard. We failed at sisters though. :(

If any lfg group insists I use the usual raid suspects instead of something I like using and have infused to 320. I just say thanks but no thanks I'll join another group. If you can't beat the raid unless u are using a rigidly defined set of weapons then you are clearly bad at the raid.

9 RepliesI got kicked because I wasn't using my ToM - while on platform 3 ... And I didn't die. Second run the "raid leader" said, I saw you using MIDA I told you to use touch. I said why would I use touch when I'm on my platform. My Knights have all gone down, the Ogre has gone down and I've been helping the Titans with knight 4, AND I haven't died. "I said it was a requirement for this raid" "I have it look .... Just don't need to use it." {kick} Thinking it saved me some time since the other two dummies on the platforms (they were a raid team) were using touch to shoot their knights instead of sniping.

I have that triple tap/casket mag 1000ys (7 shots when hitting crits) at 320, I always use it in tandem with the Sleeper at 317 now but will be the first heavy to go up to 320.

1 ReplyThat's horse shit lol i don't have tom or spindle and beat the raid a few times lowest light level and outlast the other players. I don't even use a sniper unless i absolutely have to. I use a 320 heavy and 310 pulse. Those 2 weapons help make it go faster maybe but with the combo you use i don't see why the spindle would be an issue. They need to get off their period.

I don't get that requirement.....golgoroth and warpriest are the only place the spindle gets used in my groups....I beat oryx last night with mida...1k yrd stare......raid machine....raid can be completed without the crutches

Would like to thank the fireteams that has been putting up with my crappy weapons and not kicking me. 3 warpriest challenges down 3 golgoroths and took a while but boom 1 oryx.

Only ever ran my spindle at golgoroth to save me from reloading so I can get more shots in, War priest I use 1kys and sleeper or SGA
