What an information filled weekly update.
Oh boy a new game in 2017, an update that did not specify anything but new content and increase to light level. Oh boy more grinding. Wow ok know what. This doesnt suprise me coming from bungie. Not even worth being sarcastic about. Good job I guess. Took ya'll a week too write what? 4 paragraphs. Keep up the good work. Cant wait for next week

7 RepliesThere wasn't much we didn't already know besides the fact that there will be an actual expansion in Y2. I'd given up on that, so it was good to hear. That said, would it have killed them to drop the tiniest smidgen of info about what any of this content actually is? I realize things change and they don't want to put stuff out there that then doesn't actually come to pass but they could toss is something really broad like "The war machines of the Cabal are setting their sights on the tower", or "Xylar the Timeless is coming to take back the Vault" or "Crota's father's cousin's uncle's gym teacher is coming to take revenge!" I mean the basic concept of the content isn't going to change, right? Oh well, it's just good to know there will be something for us PVE players to do again before Destiny 2 comes out. Yeh. Nice to see that there's some new stuff incoming but the increase in light level is surely obvious to everyone as that's what happens with each proper DLC there's been. Just proves there wasn't any point in endlessly chasing 320 except for 'bragging rights'. I don't think Destiny 2 coming next year was a secret either.

They've only just announced that we're getting a significant update and expansion in the future, we should be content knowing that. Prior to yesterday this game was dead for all we knew. We'll get more details in the following weeks. Or would you have rather been left in the dark for another 2-3 months? They're not just going to drop everything so suddenly. This happens with pretty much every game ever. It's a marketing strategy to get ahead of the leaks, build hype and keep players interested. Obviously player numbers are going to start declining, so those leaving will have something to look forward to and come back to later, as opposed to replaying the same boring shit. Some of you have such unrealistic expectations. Not that I was expecting anything less from this retarded community.

-blam!- Bungie....I have no allegiance to them....but you kids are so ridiculous it hurts my brain. There were details on past DLC because it was all cut up content that was all ready to ship....they obviously approached it with a business strategy to make more money(wait...businesses try to make money? woah). They are now having to create content from scratch, you guys asked for info and they gave it to you...sorry there wasn't an epic trailer for each piece of content. As a consumer you have every right to ask for info but you guys need to understand how the world works. I don't know, I've just always hated "back seat drivers" or "Monday morning quarterbacks". People who criticize from their armchair while the group they're criticizing is putting in work.
