I really think bungie should bring back year 1 raids with year 2 type gear. If bungie is reading this can you please tell me how hard it is to upgrade the armor and weapons? Also how much money would it cost?
But in the end that's what every destiny player wants, the year 1 raids back with year 2 loot. So bungie please bring them back.
BUMP SO BUNGIE CAN SEE!!!!

I'd love to run Vault of Glass and Crota's End for new, Year 2 rewards.
-
Sure do. There's an exotic mission that requires redoing the VOG but you can't find anyone who wants to go do it anymore in order to make a team.

Bump.

This is probably an unpopular opinion but whatever. They don't need to "bring the old raids back." Destiny was marketed as an mmo and fps. In almost every mmo, every time a new expansion comes out, the one before it gets left behind. Take a popular mmo like WoW for example: there are 20+ raids that have been left behind since the game first came out. The weapons and armor from that old content is now irrelevent. I don't think bungie has any obligation or intention to bring back the old content, and why would you want them to? So everyone can complain about how much of a grind and how repetitive everything is again? Yes, there is a problem with the lack of PvE content right now, but the solution is definitely not reintroducing old content. What the game needs is NEW PvE content coming out at a good pace that will allow even casual players enough time to work through all the raid content while not being slow enough to allow hardcore gamers to lose interest. That being said, I don't really see this becoming a reality anytime soon and can imagine destiny players slowly leaving the game behind for new games due to lack of a steady supply of new content. Tl;dr. This game needs NEW content and if it doesn't start coming out soon, the game will slowly lose players until everyone forgets about it in a year.

If there was more new content people wouldn't care much about the old raids. They only want them relevant now because there's nothing new to play. VOG, maybe. Everybody trash talked the crota raid saying it wasn't much of a raid but all of a sudden people want it made relevant? This community is bi polar. Not being mean, just sayin. It's full of hypocrits.

Since actual content doesn't seem to be planned to be released this year, I'd love to actually have a reason to play Destiny. I would implode if I could rock year two Vault of Glass items.
-
I think most people are indifferent now. The games such a letdown and its never updated exvept for pvp crap events

Nope, I want ALL legendary weapons to be infusible! Give us a reason to go back and do old raids but also give us the choice to do them how we want. Solo, 3 man or 6 if we want to. I'm sick of content being locked out to me as I only have 3 other friends that play destiny with me, I know lfg and stuff is available but we are close friends that like to chat about just about anything while doing raids. Just feels pointless doing old content and I feel making all weapons / armor infusible will give players new and old something to do and go a long way to make guardians look even more unique at end game.
-
I agree and I would enjoy that, but has anyone bothered to realize people will get bored of it after a month? They come crying back due to a constant need for content and we'll be back in the same loop.
-
I want this game to die so bungie can learn a lesson
-
They should but make the drops 270 to 300 for VoG and 300 to 310 for Crota's End
-
It's a lot harder than you think, especially if they do it "right" and fix bugs, cheeses and exploits. It would take a lot of resources from the dev team to do so. People make stupid assumptions like it's as easy as changing X to 42 in a single line of code.

Make nechrocasm and vex mythoclast year two problems solved lol

Edited by ElTacoPanda: 2/10/2016 5:54:03 AMIdk man I'm more of year 2 scrub I guess but I've a couple of the old raids and theyre fun and all but I dunno of makes sense to bring them back. As far as I know not many games bring old raids back
Feel free to prove me wrong here
besides I feel it would be better to bring them back with a twist. Here's my idea how about they bring one raid back for a month and they just alternate between them and have the raid require light level 300-310ish and with new enemies(taken) and call them veteran raids. Idk I feel like of they do come back it should be something along this format Edit: They should definitely bring back PoE though and make new queens legendary weapons for y2
-
Sure. But I don't like seeing guardians in the labyrinth soo
-
Bump, bring them back, or hell let's just all keep playing them!

How can people justify content that we paid for to be irrelevant? I don't get it.
-
You mean do I want the content I've all ready payed for but can't play? YES.

We should get it, but honestly we'll need something new as well. We've ready grinded those raids to death. They would get stale quick. We need some brand new content (personally I'll be fine if it's something like new missions, some strikes, a hard mode patrol/patrol events, and/or maybe an arena), and perhaps add challenge modes with the old raids as well
