I have had quite a few friends ask if they should play destiny. Of course my initial reaction is " hell yeah the more the merrier". Then I think about the result of the last dlc. Every game has its ups and downs but bungie's intentions on this last dlc are clear as day. Money plain and simple, from the lack luster"silver system" to taking a dump on year one players COMPLETE set ups. Which is surprising considering that bungie isn't an upstart company .Readjustments are one thing that most players (my self included)enjoy about a new dlc. But putting players like myself at an even plain of existence with someone who had just bought the game is insulting to the time year one players put into it. That does not mean that it shouldn't be welcoming for newcomers by any means. Not ready to admit your blunder bungie? Consider the previous raids and prison of elders. What was a worth while endeavor has been made useless. A stepping stone yielding etheric light to no end and raid gear unless your a collector, that's worthless. Not to just year one players but all entirely . I have met countless year two players who haven't even run the Crota raid, and why would they for only the promise of year one drops. Instead of adjusting a level cap of the raid , you make it futile completely .If it wasn't for the no time to explain the vault of glass would be as barren for players as the Crota raid.I don't need to trash talk your game bungie. You do it on every update by making your previous story line useless to new players, who mostly circumvent it completely. Thusly missing out on what led up to the current dlc.m, story line wise.Rejuvenating the prison of elders would be an easy adjustment too. We all saw a minor hint of this idea with Alakuul in oryx's prison.I will no doubt be called an elitist and a slew of other insults for daring to question your thought process on the last dlc.But I choose to question a company who's game I have put so much time and money into . I will not blindly accept everything bungie pours into this game . I may be presumptuous for assuming bungie would appreciate constructive criticism from a seasoned player.
