I actually enjoy playing Destiny
Am I the only one? I can start up a strike and kick some ass with 2 fellow players and thoroughly enjoy it...-blam!- rewards. I love the gameplay, hitting an entire squad of minataurs with a nova bomb? Yes please. Bungie has handled this game poorly...no doubt but IMO no other game comes close to Destiny's gameplay.
Anybody else out there that actually enjoys the gameplay in PVE? Regardless of rewards?
PVP goes without mentioning because that's really the only reason to play...for fun.

1 ReplyStill from beta day one still enjoying. I love this game but some of the newer stuff isn't as good as the older stuff. Atheon is still more fun then oryx will ever be. I want them to bring it all back.

Yep. I have fun playing all the time. The thing that helps keep it fun is to play other games. Something new comes I want to play I do it. It makes coming back that much better.

Your not alone i enjoy Destiny alot and I really just want to see it get better .I love jumping in to do strikes or raids . And yes I am easily entertained by mindlessly running around shooting enemies cause the shooting mechanics are great.

I do. The only constant for me regarding the game are daily vanguard bounties and daily missions.

2 RepliesI agree with this. I haven't had this much fun in a co-op in I don't know how long. I enjoy the strikes & prison of elders so much that's pretty much all I do. With the occasional patrols. For me the strikes are a race to get the most kills.

2 Repliesyes i enjoy it [spoiler]but incoming[/spoiler] but i need a goal or something to try and get in a game for me in destiny that's loot, sad thing is the content is getting slightly stale with it's repetitiveness and i frankly have all the loot i could want there's nothing to really keep me playing which is why i wish they would add some pve stuff instead of doing only pvp for 5 months straight. [spoiler]be honest that comment about there being more difficulties in the raids is bullshit it's the same thing just to keep us occupied[/spoiler] having said that though i don't mind playing pvp now and then i'm just not the pvp kind of person i get too competitive and start getting angry at getting killed. sometimes (very rare occasions) i get a good k/d like 2.0 and still spent most of the match cursing at players just because i died. i don't like doing that so i try to stick to pve untill i can't help it and try to stay calm. thing is i'm getting tired of the strikes switching me between the 3 cabal strikes constantly and throwing in omnigul every now and then (it's like the others don't even exist sometimes) tl;dr i'm sad cuz i feel like playing pve but it's getting really stale

Yeah but it's so repetitive it's ridiculous. Now we are sitting ducks waiting for doubles...connection sucks in pve anymore . I liked this game year one...now it's terrible at times

I enjoy pve too. The thing is that I hate raiding and I love paroling. Add vagkots2814 if you are on ps3. We can free roam together sometime if like.

3 RepliesI play it for fun, and I always have a hell of a good time. Just yesterday me and two buds broke out of the raid and explored the area under oryx's throne room. Had a good discussion about the book of sorrows, then we went off to skolas and tried to get dreg's promise again. (some day I'll get it) Then we played trials, hid in the ceiling and laughed all night as the other team tried so hard to find us. (They ended up quitting, gave us a free win.) HIDING FTW!

3 RepliesJoined a game today in rift..while floating in the air it says enemy has almost won. I spawn in, enemy ignites the rift and i get titan smashed and game finishes with a loss. All within 5 seconds into a game. So much fun

Not gonna lie I did 2 strikes the other day and remembered why I loved the game.

1 Replyi enjoy it a lot more now again that skill based matchmaking has been greatly reduced in most crucible playlists. I can actually play how i want and have fun, rather than playing nothing but sweaties the whole time. Its refreshing to play a game of control and only see a few people sniping with scouts.
