I think common, uncommon, rare and even (most) exotic gear, they were all done well. But the legendary gear, most of them are just like rare gear that is sometimes better than average. I think all Legendary gear should have unique perks instead of just semi-unique handling sometimes. "Legendary" gear just doesn't feel legendary. I love Destiny, but I think the game still needs work.

Legendary gear doesn't necessarily have DISTINCT perks compared to Blue/Green gear, but it does have [i]more[/i] of them. (I.e., Greens generally have 1 perk node, Blues have 2, Purples have 3, etc.) In that sense, I'm not sure what your point is, because legendary gear is still clearly better. The real issue is that [i]all[/i] weapons are too weak, across the board, imo. If anything, [i]Exotics[/i] are the most deserving of wide-scale buffs, because even though they have [i]distinct[/i] perks, they're not really [i]better[/i] (which kinda defeats the point of limiting how ma y if them players can equip).

I'm saying all Legendary gear should have the uniqueness that Raid weapons have. Exotics have exotic level perks, legendarys should have unique legendary perks. I understand how the system is currently designed. I'm saying it should be different.

"Unique perks". Exotics are just legendaries with that. Legendaries are you high end, common weapons. Exotics are the rarer, high end weapons.
