Refer-a-friend issues. Anyone else?
I recently bought a digital copy of The Taken King for the xbox one. Since then I've been trying to do the refer-a-friend quest line with a buddy so I created a new gamertag on the same xbox one. But the status on my profile says I have yet to purchase or play destiny and a link cannot be established. I'm hoping it's just a bad code or a failed connection and that we'll be able to relink our characters. And I REALLY hope that I'm not being penalized for going with a digital copy and that this doesn't have something with licenses. Has anyone else had trouble with an issue like this?

2 RepliesI had trouble, make sure you have all the dlc packs actually installed, if you or your friend have a hard copy with codes for dlc (I believe there are two in the game box) make sure BOTH have been redeemed. This turned out to be the issue with me and my friend.
