Bungie is the only game company, ONLY GAME COMPANY, I have ever known to actually go and ask their community "Are they having fun". I find grinding for one exotic, when I could be levelling my third character, or playing repulsive vex strikes for a gun that has a .7% chance of dropping with Fatebringer rolls. I have fun sometimes, sometimes I don't. But Bungie is the only company I have known, who often bother to ask their community their feelings.

The reason i went from being in the top 4% of hours playing to barely playing this game is simple When i began playing in year 1 my mindset was that every piece of gear i grabbed would serve a future purpose. I beleived staying up a little longer at nite & trying to get thru all the raids again that week were gonna pay off . I had to have every exotic ,every raid gun every armor piece in every perk . Then i realize after year 2 all id done was stockpile weapons parts to put in to inferior year 2 garbage. That it had been a waste Even after i tried to enjoy the new content which was amazing in the look of it my mentality cannot get past having to dismantle a fatebringer to upgrade stuff i cant even remember the name of . Cannot shake the "oh well -blam!- it nothing really matters in this game anymore " attitude that has become obvious after year 2 content dropped & bungie basically made every thing i worked for in year 1 an obsolete worthless joke at the expense of trying to appease some new players that would also realize what a time waste it will be. Bungie has absolutely no respect for players time invested.. People that had put in 1000's of hrs trying to build the best characters stock piling a vault of gear that would arm them for a future. In a loot based game thats the reward. U took a shit on that & made inferior replacements that are nearly impossible to obtain or obtained way too easily so they no longer feel like a reward or anything exceptional . I know theyll be garbage next content drop so u can sell more dlcs so why play another hr to complete a raid. Why log in at all who cares? Theres no point all youre hard work will be a waste of time

There was a time when I would have put down 5, but nowadays it down to a three and sometimes a 2. If they want to make it fun again, at least for me, they should keep reading... Bungie communicate with us. And by this I mean really, truly communicate with us. I have no problem with "Unite the clans" and the "weekly updates," but at least give us something substantive. Give us a timeline. Give us sneak peak. Let us know a little bit about what your working on. It seems like everything we hear is "We have got a big update coming for you and then an even bigger one after that...be excited." You've given us no reason to be excited. An update could be as exciting as new content, but, as has been done in the past, it could be an across the game weapons and subclass "nerf" fest. There is much reason to be excited for the former, but not for the latter. Give us something to dig into. They need new content that's fun to play. The group of friends I play with has dwindled rapidly. Most of them hate the new raid and I can't disagree. It's terribly tedious (There's got to be a better way to make something fun yet challenging than endless jumping puzzles and bullet sponges with absurd hurdles to jump through just to do damage). It's horrendous with lag (teleporting ogres/orbs that don't detonate even with three people standing in the center of them/boss damage that doesn't register even when you manage to do everything right). They need to make the old content at least somewhat relevant. To remove 2/3's of the game and call it an expansion was a travesty against the game community. The PVP events are fine, but not everyone is a pvp player. The best part of festival of the lost was NOT having to go into a pvp game to collect loot and complete bounties. Bring back the year 1 content and equipment. Finally, the grind is way too real. There needs to be a way to collect higher light items than just the raid and ToO. To run the nightfall at 315 light and get a 293 ghost shell, a duck horn, and an emote (my NF rewards the last week I ran it on all three characters) is a slap in the face. To collect engrams for hours and have nothing decrypt above 290 for a 315+ light character is equally absurd. There has to be room for progression because there is simply not enough content pve or pvp (as it is now) to keep people coming back otherwise. Let us set the difficulty on patrol and receive commensurate rewards. Unbind RNG and let things actually decrypt/drop at useful levels. Let's make this game a 5 for 5 fun factor again!

I've been grinding tlw ever since I got destiny in the end of year one. I've done raids, strikes, and opened exotic engrams. I only get Monte Carlo and red death. Pls fix bungiw

I guess the biggest problem with these "events" that periodically happen is that they don't last. The idea of doing events as a content filler between major content updates is good in theory, but need to be managed differently than it is now. One way to fix this would be for the events to have more permenant effects. Sparrow racing was cool, but was only a timed event, even though the content inside it was something that the game could easily fit into permenantly, and maybe the events for it (where the Tower banners are decorated) be where there is a tournament with a full-on leaderboard of the fastest players. Events like Festival of the Lost make sense to be timed, but more events that provide permenant fresh content would help the "content drought" that plagues the game right now. Another way to solve this (or something to go alongside the previous suggestion) would to have events happen more often. Without permenant new content (special playlists for solo players don't count), there should at least be a much faster stream of temporary events. An event every two months doesn't keep people in the game. Shortening periods between events to about every two or three or weeks would work better. I have no idea how feasible these ideas would be, but when a game that revolves around collecting loot doesn't have any more loot to collect, the excitement goes away. The Crimson Doubles thing is something I'll jump into with my friend for a couple matches on the day it releases and then move back to whatever game I was playing before. But enough about events. As much as some people may have disliked The Dark Below, the second Raid it added is probably why Destiny didn't go into a similar stage it's in now. We had two Raids, and while Crota's End was the place to get the best armor and weapons, Vault of Glass still had people going in to collect the coveted Mythoclast and Fatebringer. We had two Raids. Now we are back to square one. We have one Raid now, since the loot that brought people to VoG and CE are near-worthless in everything except PvP. Making Y1 Raids relevant again wouldn't be hard, no need to make new items, and if you really want to keep people from using Fatebringer in Destiny from now on, you can at least fulfill your promise of all exotics moving forward to Y2. Resurrect the Mythoclast and Necrochasm. Let us make them 320. If nothing else, the chance of an awesome exotic will bring people back to the old Raids. More endgame content gives people more variety and generally makes thing less repetitive and boring. Hell, if we have to work for the Y2 Raid exotics, give us a level 41 Hardmode. Better yet, bring Prison of Elders up-to-date, adding even more variety. Just my two cents.

I'm very bored of this game right now. I agree with the guy earlier about story, they have a great opportunity here to bring the story together and make it like a Star Wars type of story of good vs evil that will pull you in with mystery and intrigue. But there is nothing to do on this game anymore. It's way to long between updates.

I still hope there will be some story. Honestly, game was advertised like deep story one and we have good, baad and ugly. Nothing else. Bungie should go back and bring everything from supercut. Honestly who cares about 6 diferent PvP tournaments, they are all same. What about proper story Bungie.

Because I got tired of the trash that this game has become, trying to find a game for raid is insane. The PVP is worse than trying to get a wild dog to do tricks. They still haven't gotten decent servers and they've got more than enough money in their bank accounts to do such. There's many other games out there that are doing much better. May I recommend Bloodborne, Need For Speed and Warframe for ps4 instead of this?

DESTINY COMMUNITY - That will ruin the game. Try an LFG site. ME - I do try LFGs and such, but there are times I just want to play the damn game without the drama. How hard is it to let me choose? DESTINY COMMUNITY - You will have a bad time with randoms, guaranteed. ME - I'm already having a bad time with LFG sites. I'm already playing with randoms. BUNGIE - We hear you. We're going to put your concern in some kind of list, and then ignore it. And then, add more events without matchmaking. ME - Okay, bye. DESTINY COMMUNITY - Don't let the door hit ya. ME - [playing Battlefield 4] A few months later... DESTINY COMMUNITY - There is too much lag! So much latency! I can't find people to play with! Why, Bungie? BUNGIE - ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Of course everyone chooses 1, because you guys keep overreacting to many things. Maybe if you guys weren't like: Screw Bungie or other insults, constructive criticism would be absolute. It's not Bungie, it's YOU, because you keep yelling at my face because someone killed you with a versatile weapon, the only versatile weapon is MIDA, the rest were nerfed because of the community. Quit the crap, yelling and insulting and crying isn't going to help, but rather, make this whole situation even worse. Please use constructive criticism. Edit: There are many flaws and screw ups with this game yes, weapons do need to be fixed, other lag and more content issues with this game, yes. I am not defending anybody, however I do have to pop your bubbles. The problem is the community is the sole purpose of this post.
