Hi guardians,
I don't play a whole lot of crucible but I do enjoy my Trials and Iron Banners.
However out of all the game modes I really hated Rift the most.
No matter what I did I just could not play a good game.
Until yesterday.
We started up IB Rift in the hopes of it being not too bad. After the first 2/3 games started slow for me and a couple laggers on other teams, i started to get the hang of it. After a few games I was wrecking it.
After 30 games we won 23 and lost 7 (mainly the first 3/4 games) and i was on top with k/d AND rift carries. Like literally every single game. I didnt know what was happening to me. I'm never consistently on the top of leaderboard. Never. As i'm not a "pro" player.
Also we didnt have much laggers anymore at the end.
So yeah I might have to change my opinion about Rift and start playing it more often. I was so shockend at what was happening I decided to make a video of my games as this might be the first and last time i played this well lol.
So anyone else having similar experiences with IB Rift? Or are yours much worse? Laggers? Or maybe the opposite of my story?
Let us hear your stories guardians!!

I thought it would be crap, changed my mind though . I like normal rift and like to carry the spark . Thought IB rift would be too team focused though , and I usually back out of matchmaking if I see a full team , as I play solo due to lag in IB . Completed my weekly bounties quicker than control or clash during rift and even if you are getting blown out the games are super quick . I actually quite enjoyed it as rift is more fun than control or clash .

I only played a few games last night, but enjoyed it overall. Have a few friends complaining though that their teams are delivering the spark more and still losing, so I wish that was different. Same thing as running 2 control points all game and losing. Just a poor mechanic on Bungies part.

Baby turn around now let me see your sexy body go Bump Bump Bump

Opposite here, I love Rift! Completely hate it for Iron Banner. But that's also the trouble to Bungie trying to cater and please 1000's of different players

I had similar experience. Played regular Rift a few days before IB and average around 1.2 k/d. In IB many games are over 3.0 k/d. May be in part to the level differences and weapons i was using. Switched it up for IB and running higher light weapons.

Similar experience here. Never played Rift before last night. Figured WTH, try it before I rage against it. Solo play without being matched against 5-6 man teams (could not believe that) I actually was on the winning side my first 4 games. Actually placed in the top three a few times and managed to not only get some ignites in I even managed a reverse dunk once (on Cathedral no less)! For the weekly bounty of play 13 games / win 7 I managed to win 7 within 11 games. My biggest find was just run the spark. Saw many players just camp killing the spark spawn without trying to grab it. Points are points and I would rather my team get points than stopping the opposition runner.

Looks like a lot of fun! Good vid, keep it up!

Good job! Don't ya hate it when your on a streak and need that one more shot but just ran outta ammo! Love rift! It's strategy based gameplay is fun, even taking one for the team can have satisfactory feelings, like when ya nova bomb the opposing team grouped at spark letting teammates run the spark for ultimate annihilation
