From what we got from year one, the game was released with pitiful contents, then a few months we got The Dark Below, then House of Wolves then The Taken King as an anniversary for release.
This was fine but for this year, events aren't doing it as there is less content in these events than the Dark Below with even more waiting time in between.
For the sake of this game, in Year three Bungie will release this so called "sequel" then they should be releasing a mixture of BOTH DLC's and events alternating throughout the year.
Example:
Game Sequel - Base game with more content than original
Event - Similar timing with Festival of the Lost, 1-2 months after release
DLC - Similar timing with Dark below with same or more content than House of Wolves, 3 so months after release
Big Event - Similar to SRL, but bigger, 5-6 months after release
DLC - Similar timing with House of Wolves with same or more content as said before, 8 so months after release
Event - Smaller event same to Crimson Days, 9-10 months after release
Comet DLC - Similar to Taken King in size, a year after release
And the pattern repeats
Event
DLC
Big Event
DLC
Event
(Full release?)
Does everyone else agree with this?
(Note, when I say similar to, I don't mean in style, just content size)

All of their vision left when Joe Staten left. That's why everything was and is pushed back. This version of Bungie have no vision. It's gone. They don't even know what to do or how to go about doing it. That why they keep releasing these "themed" events. No more vision. If it keeps going like this, there may not be a 10yr plan for this franchise. On a side note, I like your ideas. It's just Bungie can't even keep up with the current content.
