Yet, there were odd occurrences in this weekly update that hints some BIG changes this February. Now this is odd, as they have shown more dogs in this weekly update than usual. And since this is the weekly update that has shown some hints in what is to come, there is no denying that we will have new character classes: The Canine Class. Now, how will this go about? For starters, there will need to be a new Mentor in the Tower, someone that the new Canine Guardians will need to go to for missions. We know that Bungie is cheap, and wont invest into a new character. But who said that they need to? Is there already a character in the game that has some relation to canines? That is right, the answer has been in the game this whole time. Lord Saladin will be the new Mentor for the Canine class. How Bungie will go about this is still a mystery; perhaps a hologram projection of Saladin in the Tower? Now with the new class to play with, there has to be a new story for them, right? That is where the reef and the wolves will come in. Just because the Prime of the Wolf House and Skolas is killed does not mean that the wolves will just disappear. We already hunted the traitors to the Queen. Now we need to make sure that every last Wolf is dead. And how so? A new class of Guardians will need to sniff out the remaining wolves, as the new Canine class is the only class that can handle the job. Assuming that the rest of the details regarding the Canine class is still kept in secret, it is highly likely that we will get a Canine class is Destiny. They will help show more about Lord Saladin and the Iron Banner, while finishing out the story of the Wolf Fallen House. A new class will greatly restore replayability for Destiny, as well as providing the right amount of diversity for keeping Destiny fresh until the predictable Destiny 2.
