Normally I don't mind seeing a post or two about the subject, but I've been seeing a lot of posts about this lately that it makes me question if it's just a combination of different accounts; same people or made up stories seem like it can't be random coincidence.
So this thread is to see a vote of confidence on people viewing, regardless of whether you have seen cheating or known it happens, ect. but feel there is simply too many bans handed out for ToO specifically and would like Bungie to reinvest into a different system to help prevent or otherwise deter cheating from happening in the first place.
I've been a gamer for a long time. Players cheat. It happens, they do it, ect.. But competitive shooters have always been able to find solutions to deter cheating. Whether dropping the rewards and making it a competitive global arena in global scoreboards down to Halo: Reach where you are placed each given time frame and can rise or fall based on individual or team performance.

Ban Red-barring players. If your interwebs is shit, gtfo an online game n00b.-(Not directed at OP)-Quit trying to do ToO with Starbucks's wifi. Since none of them ever have the decency to just LEAVE a game when they KNOW their laggin-ass is jumpin all over the screen, I say F*** em, ban their asses from Destiny entirely if they have consistent bad connection. This game has enough glitches without lag BS.

Simply to lazy to report all the possible cheating Vs lag......??? Who can tell with the lag been so bad? Lag vs blatant cheating?
-
Honestly, bans are really the ONLY thing that deter them. That, and public shaming/ridicule.

Tired of the bs in cruciable. Being up huge then come the red bars and you lose. It is rwal and bungie ignores it.
