Kate opened her eyes once more to see a blue sky. She blinked and looked around. She sat up slowly as she almost head butted into a floating green orb. "Hey now!" The orb backed up slightly. "Careful, you almost hit me." "Sorry..." Kate paused and looked at the orb. "Wait... what are you?" "Who would be a better question and I am Damien, your Ghost and cousin." "I have a cousin?" "Don't you know all machines are related in some way?" Damien's blue eye blinked as he looked at Kate in curiosity. "No..." "Well you do now." He looked around them. "Hm... Well except for those Fallen Servitors and those freaky Vex thingys. Bleh." "What?..." Kate placed her hand on her head. She did a double take at her arm as she looked at her hands. They were a bluish/white color and moved how she wanted them to move but they felt not like her. "What's going on?.." Damien turned and looked at her. "Oh... you didn't know you were a machine? Well don't be alarmed it's not a bad life... Granted you can't do things such as swim, have sex, and dance unless it's the Robot but it's a decent life." "What?" Damien sighed. "When you are older I'll tell you about such things, but for now we need to get you inside and with some suitable armor on." "Armor?" "Its like clothing but tougher and it be nice than not to have nothing." Kate looked down at herself. She squeaked a bit and covered herself. "Why didn't you tell me?!" "Tell you what?" "That I didn't have clothes on?!" Damien floated and stared at her. "What does it matter? It ties in with the whole sex thing." "What even is that?" "What? Sex? It's what things do to reproduce and have kids. Messy business and Exos aren't really built for that kind of punishment." "What are Exos? And where are my clothes?!" She looked around her but settled to quickly hid behind a broken piece of building. Damien sighed and tried to float over. "There is nothing wrong with.." "Don't look!!" Damien spun around. "Geez... They said girls were a pain but I didn't expect this... Here." He shot a beam of light at a large dirty cloth and brought it over. "I'm not wearing that..." Damien looked at it. "What's wrong with it? It's not Sapphire Wire material but it is useful for the time being." "Its ugly... Plus it's dirty too..." "Picky picky..." Damien looked around some more. "Fine fine how about... this." He pulled up a torn bit of a brown stained lab coat. "Atleast it looks like clothes but it's still ugly." "It will do you just nicely!" He looked at her. "I mean all you have to do is..." "DON'T LOOK!!" Damien's core spun around but he got closer. "Put this on and boom! Clothing." Kate grunted and took it. "I still don't like it." She slipped it on and covered herself. "You don't have to like it, just us it until we get home." He looked at her. "Hey what's that say?" He scanned the coat. "Varience... Hm must have been a scientist." Kate paused and shuddered a bit. "Let's just go..." "Um.. ok?" He floated ahead. "This way."
