Has Bungie lost 80% of their players?

This really only applies to the PS4. I was looking at The Taken King (ttk) trophies the other day and noticed that only 20% of PS4 owners that have Destiny have completed ttk quest (silver trophy). My question is, Has Destiny lost 80% of their PS4 player base since ttk launched? If so, then that would explain why Bungie have implemented the refer a friend incentive. Edit:- I've said the following before on previous posts;- "It's the reward system in video games that keep players hooked. (And I'm sure that Bungie know this). If the rewards are shit, then people will stop playing, simple". Edit 2:- Come to think of it, the Destiny trophy list is combined and covers both PS4 & PS3. Edit 3:- I used to love Destiny. My friends and I used to play religiously every day. The grind that the game has now is just to time consuming for what little reward a player receives. I have only one friend now that plays Destiny on a regular basis, the rest of us have now moved on to (dare I say it?) Fallout 4 and Star Wars Battlefront.

  • Tuesday nightfall reset use to see 8-10 friends on playing or looking for nightfall help, tonight 2 friends on between 7pm-9pm and no one want's to run nightfall. Other nights use to have no problems getting 6 for a raid, now I'm lucky if there is even 1-2 people on Destiny. So I would agree Destiny lost players . I would also agree rewards are the reason most are not playing, not worth the time vs reward.
