im looking at fusion rifles to buy for pvp
this is mainly because im not hte best sniper and i dont get a lot of satisfaction out of using one. i started using mida/tlaloc and kille dmultiple snipers due to flinch...so i figured i could afford a different special.
i grabbed my warlock legendary susanoo and immediatly killed 4 people the next match back to back by precharging from around a corner then firing.
so i want a fusion rifle (different the susanoo) but wich one should i buy?
Im leaning towards vortex from FWC due to faster charge rate and accelerated coils perk.
also bonus question, is vendor havoc pigeon worth it? i want a sidearm too.

Split shifter Plan C Thesan Susanoo Vortex You want to look for 2 important things in a fusion rifle Range And Stability Charge rate is managable with practice, and impact dictates what type of fusion rifle it is. Low stability means that your shots will miss alot Low range means that your shots will travel extremely slowly Try not to choose a perk that sacrifices one for the other unless you don't have a choice.

Thesian, as suggested. Susanoo is very similar but charges faster. Hitchhiker from DO is awesome at 100 impact but a random roll better suits it (had a range finder, hidden hand, accelerated coils one-best ever) Havoc pigeon, iron wreath and conviction are all awesome. Optimal perks include range finder, Zen moment, spray and play plus skip/high caliber rounds or casket mag. Personal favorite is a pigeon with range finder, skip rounds and spray and play. Wait for rng sidearm, the last good one sold was iron wreath.

Thesan FR-4 is being sold! Great impact, great stability, and last time it came with amazing rolls. Pick one up from Banshee!

Grind for a darkblades with rangefinder
-
havoc pigeon is aight, and I've heard the vortex is good. the thesan-4 fusion from omolon is also good, very high impact
-
People say to buy the vortex but it's so bad. I'm sorry I don't get it. It has garbage range, impact, stability. It's just bad. Why do people like it?

Edited by Fender-2007: 12/1/2015 8:38:36 PMBasically buy any omolon fusion
-
The Vanguard Long Far Gone is decent. I have one from FWC with good perks, and its a really good FR, but I like my LFG with Hip Fire, Accelerated Coils, and Life Support.
-
The fusion rifle from King's Fall is pretty good. I recommend hip-fire or hot swap for your perks. Up to you though.
-
A fast charge rate fusion doesn't work well without stability, keep that in mind.

Get the omolon thesan from the gunsmith this week. You won't regret it.
-
I have a long far gone and a vortex; Vortex is better in every category but stability, and the 8 round mag and AA help a lot with that. Bonus answer: hold out until you get a cryptarch pigeon with skip rounds.
-
I would try the "Omolon Thesan FR4". I just love using that weapon as it vaporizes pretty much anything without too much charging. I can't remember where I got it though. I think it might have been a reward from the Gunsmith. The other fusion rifle that's fun to use, is the "Telesto" which I only got recently. It takes a bit of getting used to, but it sprays enemies with void crackling. It's good fun!

Buy plugone.1 I heard its a sniper. :)
-
I've got vortex which I been getting some use out of slowly it's alright I got the armsday order for the new one though so I'll play around with that one next week
-
The arms day one. Thesan something. It's a monster
-
Dead orbit one Hitchhiker fr4
-
If you can learn to use Telesto properly, you can do some serious damage with pre firing. I got a couple good games with one when i unlocked it
-
forgot to add...I have three side arms I have been working with in crucible...The one that works best for me is the pigeon...but I dont have the one from the vendor...I have one with high caliber rounds...I don't know why...but as soon as I get shot and I shoot someone with it...their aim is horrible. I am highly considering the one from New Monarchy..only because it has high caliber rounds
-
Pocket Infinity for the win.
-
FWC ...the firerate is sick!
-
The vortex I love this thing
-
Plan C. It is the only reliable Fusion Rifle nowdays.
-
The vendor long far gone has all the perks you'd want except a stability middle column
-
I like the Quest Reward Long Far Gone. It has braced frame and a pretty nice charge rate.
