Last Word (Seriously broken)
I'm starting to believe the chaperone quest was initially a joke.. they "fixed" the last word and now I can't even use the this weapon effectively.. Every thing out guns it.. The havoc pigeon can out gun the last word
Only gun fights I seem to win are being rushed by a shotgun or finding someone.. am I doing something wrong? Or is it the weapon?

ADS with TLW is still good. AT RANGE. they're buffing hand cannons soon too. Also hip fire on that thing is bae. I love my last word

1 ReplyYes you are doing it wrong. Bungie made sure that the only way to get kills with that thing is to hip fire. I wouldn't ads unless the target is low health.

The Last Word was a crutch gun in year one. Now, the patch separates the abusers from the dexterous. Chaperone was the easiest quest. The only hard part is waiting for the reset.

Sidearms can out gun machine guns so of course they can outgun the Last Word. The Last Word kills faster than Pulse Rifles still too. Get used to the kick and damage falloff.

2 RepliesI managed the chaperone quest without getting one kill with The Last Word. Equip it when you get a super and or heavy ammo, go on a killing spree, equip favorite primary until next super or heavy, repeat. I also equipped TLW at the end of a match I knew I'd win and run like heck to avoid getting killed.

6 RepliesUse Blade Dance with the Quick Draw perk Use a Sniper. Any sniper Body shot quick draw last word. Spam Hip fire last word. Even at range this kills people quickly and is super effective.

It's for aggressive players who rather use a sniper. Aim down the sights and aim for the head. Quickest way to get their health down just you can blink strike them. Backstab kills a Sunbreaker after a couple of shots.

There was a quote I heard that sums it up nicely: If you have to ADS with TLW you are out of range... Period.

Edited by bluejack31: 11/29/2015 11:40:56 PMYou have to fire from the hip and get close if your gonna use the last word other wise stay back and just snipe people on like rift and if they start rushing just run the -blam!- away if you think you can't kill them before they kill you and also the bigger the killing streak the more progress you get
