To Warlocks and Titans, from a Hunter
So, I've been noticing a lot of class hate these days. It seems a lot of Hunters are whining about this and that or what have you, so I decided to write an appreciation letter to our brother classes. It might be blasphemy to actually ADMIRE another class, but hey, gotta give credit where credit is due. Without further adieu.....
Titans- you guys rock my effing world in pvp. When I see those fiery wings and those golden hammers flying everywhere, you bet your bottom dollar you have me hauling ass in the opposite direction. No shame, you guys scare me.
Warlocks- the way you guys go emperor Palpatine on everyone is truly worthy of song. Frankly, the only thing scarier than a titans hammer is when I see lightning just exploding across the battlefield. Once again, I'm running for the hills and I probably need a change of underwear when I get there.
I won't lie, there are a lot of times when it seems Titans and Warlocks are unfairly OP in pvp. But I certainly don't want them nerfed. On the contrary, I want them to stay OP. It brings all the more satisfaction when I'm actually able to sink my blade into their backs, unexpectedly. That's what Hunters do. We're not "in your face," like Titans and Warlocks. We rely on stealth and cunning.
So I guess what I'm trying to say is, keep rocking our faces off Titans and Warlocks. The challenge you present to us Hunters only makes us better at our jobs. And you can be sure, that every time you smash my skull in, or fry me to a crisp, I tip my hat to you sirs and madames. But know this, my blade will always be sharp. And the next time you feel that tingly sting of my arc blade in your back, you will think of me, and remember that the Underdog bested you. At least one time.
Edit: just to clarify, I am a year 2 player. I've only been playing for about a month. So I'm sorry to all you Hunters who are salty about my opinion. I don't speak for all Hunters, I only speak for myself. This is my attempt at building a better community. If you don't like that or if you have a problem with that, you have my permission to jog right the hell on. Call me pathetic and call me an ass kisser. It doesn't matter. Because at the end of the day, IT'S A GAME! Behind our avatars, we are real people. And this is supposed to be a fun game. If I'm guilty of anything, it's trying to bring some fun back into this game.

I started as a hunter then i became a warlock but hunters are my favorite class. I appreciate this post, because i feel the same way , at times the crucible is a weird place one day your god one day your nobody but its all about enjoying the experience. Bravo to you sir. Bravo

Well, youngster *lights pipe* let me tell you of a time when Hunters were the most OP class in Crucible, a time when Razor's Edge Arc Blade went right through a Ward of Dawn, and people scattered in fear when they heard the sound of a Golden Gun firing. Those times aren't entirely gone. Speed and movement are the keys to victory in the Crucible, and the Hunters will always be the masters of Agility. Golden Gun still kills everything with one shot, and now you got a Void Bow that makes everyone you hit turn into a block of salt. Let me tell you, youngster, the Crucible is a funny place. One day, you feel like a goddamn dreg, and the next you feel like you could take Lord Shaxx one on one. Yep. In the end, the best you can hope to do is find a way to fight that you like, and then stick with it; find ways to make it work for you. That, and bring your friends. Win or lose, it'll be a good time.

Sir you have my respect, as a person who is a year one and two player understand the problems we had last year. Which most problems were just had gotten nerfed or removed in a bad way, and I see why a lot of hunters are salty at us titans ( RABBEY)-Mr.Fruits channel. Anyway for someone think of the OP titans and warlocks I agree it should become a challenge for hunters instead of whining about it. Us titans and warlock had to deal with all of your op subclasses; so what I trying says is if one class nerfed, all of the classes get nerfed.

1 ReplyOne peaceful morning the warlocks were in their library, studying pre-collapse literature when all of the sudden a Titan frantically ran into the room. "Everyone hide!" He said. "The hunters used the nerf cannon and are attacking the-" he was abruptly cut off as a nightstalker's arrow penetrated his back. He instantly fell to the ground and dissolved into void particles. Ikora rallied the warlocks and told them to stand their ground. But before they could counter the hunters, they were ambushed by a group of gunslingers. One after the other, the warlocks perished. The few who remained feebly tried to fight back but their supers were taken due to the nightstalker. After all of the warlocks had perished, the huntard leader Cayde-6 told the hunters that they had done an excellent job and that warlocks would either be nerfed or hunted to extinction. Just as the hunters were about to leave the library, all the sunsingers used self Rez and revived their fellow warlocks. The hunters were too shocked to move as a wave of fire bolt grenades hit them. "NOOOOOOOO!" They shouted as they fell one by one. They couldn't do anything but watch as they instantly burst into flames. As a a last effort to fight back, all of the bladedancers used their supers, only to be shut down by voidwalkers and stormcallers. This is why to this day hunters are salty. You sir, have my utmost respect. I tip my hat to you. Destiny needs more players like you, if I do say so myself. Even if you have only been playing a month....you are the better part of the destiny community. With that said....You sir.....stay awesome....

Stormcaller is good, but your Tether can stop it. I personally love seeing when someone tries to run from a Novabomb, or an Axion Bolt. I have been a Warlock since day one, and still love the Way of the Void.

I like you style. I too main a hunter. When I hear their supers activate I just start running. Hunters use speed and precision l. That is what some people don't understand about our class. Fastest when running and best jump. Agile AF! Please note, I enjoy playing as the other classes as well and each class has their flaws. It just comes down to what style you enjoy.

Now when Titans get a single roaming super that has multikill potential, everyone freaks out. I agree, cauterize should have a slight time gate. One maybe two seconds between health regens. And absolutely a damage reduction to make golden gun kill in a shot. No more though. That's all the sunbreakers need. Edit: To clarify, I like this post. Just putting in my two cents. Btw, the "top" Destiny players are Hunters and Warlocks with a single Titan in the top 100.
