There's a very clear distinction between the way things logically should be, and the way things actually are. Lot's of things "are" regardless of being "right" or "fair". And any time we choose to open ourselves to these situations, we do so knowing ahead of time what the outcome will most likely bring. But it extends beyond just the female aspect of it too. Open Christians, anti-vaxers, homosexuals, feminists, etc, etc all face trolling and flaming when they choose to share that part of themselves in an environment with little repercussions for your actions. Shit.. if you had any idea how many times I've been called a pedo for being an "old guy" on a video game forum... But it was my choice to share that information, so I readily take my lumps about it. So no.. it's not right that you should be singled out because of being female. And yes.. people should grow the -blam!- up and act like they've actually seen a girl before. But realistically? We all know that's not going to happen, so you take your chances and learn to have thicker skin, or find other forms of entertainment until the rest of the net can pull their heads from their asses.
