Never played an online game that has such a horrible community as Destiny. And I have played a fukton of online games. Had a blast playing the game up until you can't progress without kings fall hard or trials. Have to use 3rd party websites to find a group of people to play with (a joke in itself). But you can't get a group for kings fall unless you already have the hard mode emblem. And if you do happen to get an invite, people talk crap and rage quit if you don't perform to perfection , which is hard to do considering you can't get a group to get enough experience to get it down. It's bad enough to where I decided to just skip the raid completely because it's not worth the drama. Trials. Same thing. Off to the third party sites to look at everyone requiring ridiculously high kd, and have to have been flawless before. I put in my post flat out that I am horrible at trials, really horrible. And just want to get bounties done. I even put that if you want to win, don't invite me. Eventually, I'll find a group. And even though I've stated that I am a scrub, still get booted from fireteam with shit talk along the way. Like the kings fall, not worth the drama. Skip it. That leaves just about nothing to do but to stick to myself and do the same things over and over without being able to progress. My young son hit 300 light. My advice to him is to find a different game or he's going to have teenagers and adult flaming him if he wants to try the raid or trials. Refer a friend? Why would i refer a friend to this? So goodbye Destiny, goodbye Bungie. And goodbye to the very few people that I have met over the last few months that I don't have a way to communicate with in game other than dancing, pointing and teabagging. I'm sure this post will be filled with flames. From reading the forums 90% of it seems like flaming or complaints. I read about how active users are on the decline. Doesn't help when new players are constantly flamed and chased off.
