Why do you play Destiny? It's a simple question.
I'm not looking for Destiny to be compared to other games. I'm just curious what attracted people to play Destiny to begin with.
I know Destiny attracts two different groups of players. Those that like PVE/MMO/RPG games and those that like FPS PVP games.

It's a video game. I play video games. Yeah.

The reason I loved destiny was the pve. As I got older I was sick of playing online Match after online match with little kids Being dicks on the mic. Destiny was the first game in a while you can play by yourself or strike with friends rather than beating a campaign that took 6 hours then done with the game.

I don't
-
To feed my addiction
-
We need a "because I can't help myself" button.
-
Haven't played for a couple weeks now
-
Space Aliens Collecting Role Playing FPS Kicking back w/ friends =WIN.
-
I like doing more PVE stuff with new people I've met. Suck at PVP so it's not too much fun
-
For the lore. No sarcasm. No salt. I like the lore
-
Pve is my main reason for Destiny but I sometimes do daily crucible matches, and I compete in iron banner but I don't do much PvP
-
Should make a "I don't play anymore, just go to forums" option
-
Didn't expect that kind of split. I voted both but primarily PvE but I thought it would have been the other way around.
-
Because I don't have next gen yet
-
Why no option for just both but an option for both but one of the other more
-
The "I don't" option is missing.

Havoc Pigeon.
-
I enjoy PVP just as much as PVE
-
*used*
-
I only play pve at the beginning of a dlc, just to get my pvp setup. After that I'm 100% pvp
-
I play for both the fun and the great design of a great game

My original intent was for PvP
