Glad I just rented Battlefront
If you think the lack of content in Destiny is bad... You ain't seen shit. This game feels like a demo, plus a $50 season pass??? Pfffff

12 RepliesThe developers have been more than honest about content shipped with the game, and have promised free dlc along side the paid dlc. I for one am completely willing to support a developer that isn't going to keep us in the dark. Also, how can we really blame a developer for a $60 game of any genre these days? Honestly, were lucky that games aren't moving for around $80-100 with the amount of content that consumers are apparently expecting. That with the fact that EA needs to guarantee so much $ in their pocket because the game will be retuned and repurchased from places like GameStop. That all being said, I love this game [Battlefront]. I've been capable of binging for an entire day and loving it. My girlfriend and I are all over Survival, those Stars don't stand a chance. [spoiler]Battlefront is tops.[/spoiler]

Everyone who isn't getting paid to play vidoegames is a casual. Yah that means you too. Videogames are meant to be fun and relaxing not a grind for basic things. Get over yourself and just enjoy a game for once.

It has plenty of modes to play and enough to keep you entertained, it's a ton of fun to play with a group of friends, its the best looking game of this console generation so far, and its gotten almost all positive reviews. You lost all credibility when you compared it to Destiny.

2 RepliesOk your opinion is noted I get you don't like it and I will say having played the previous Star Wars Battlefront games, this one is not as good as I could be. There are only 6 Heroes and game only spans episodes 4-6, with some locations from 7. They scrapped a great class system to add one that can use micro-transactions. The random drops was a good choice for all the items, vehicle, heroes... but the gameplay was still better in battlefront 2. Star Wars Battlefront 2 had 18 heroes, 9 from each side, they both have space battles. Just because of great graphics and 60fps doesn't make it better, content makes it better. The fact that a game of the same series from around 10 years ago has way better content makes me wonder if they rushed this game out. It's fun right now since its new and fresh, but it's like Titanfall, everyone will play it for a few months, then most won't care about it anymore.

If anyone is wondering WHY I would post this... I just hope I can save a guy 60 bucks. If you want to get the full experience of this game, just rent it. 60 bucks is a lot of money to spend on a game that you'll get sick of in three hours.

Plus, it's getting free stuff added incrementally alongside the packs. I'm alright with paying for it. The game is fun, easy to hop into, suffers next to no issues other than an occasional bout of hitreg, looks gorgeous and is exceptionally true to the source material, hero outfits vs locations not withstanding.
