So, it was pretty obvious that when year one ended, everyone was sad that they lost all their favorite legendaries. Perhaps, at the release of each weapon update, Bungie Could give to all players an Infusion of Light. Basically, what it would do is give the Year One Content you want the ability to be infused. That way, at certain intervals, its like giving them a bit of their nostalgia. You would only get 1 per update, so you would have to choose wisely. I would personally love to take my Deadshot Luna to Year 2.

I'd use it on my Y-09 Longbow Synthesis(sniper) i thought of a similar idea but i ended up never posting it , glad someone came up with something similar.
-
I'd use it on my Vision of Confluence - even if I knew I'd only EVER get a single one of that upgrade item. It'd be totally worth it to have a Y2 VoC (exactly as it was in y1 except with a y2 attack level and infusable)

We shouldn't have to compromise at all. There was no reason to take them away in the first place. Bungie should stop withholding content or taking it away to generate their own hype.
-
I'd like to use word of crota again.

Here's a weapon for such a wish list, my old fusion rifle, the Murmur. I don't know if it's rare, or other people think it's crap, but I've never heard anyone talking about it. It's base stats are decent, it holds 7 rounds per mag, which is higher than any current FR, and of course, the best characteristic is the ability to switch from arc to solar at a moments whim.

I think this would be a nice touch to the game but maybe in a different way. Like what if you got it from a strike and it would have the same name same perks but updated to the current system kinda like the strike specific rewards in a way.

Great post, but it's left my with one burning question... What happened to AngryPotato1? Did they not ascend?
-
Nope. Not good enough. Reintroduce etheric light and allow all year 1 gear (legendaries and exotics) to be brought forward. It's not Destiny 2 people. This is still JUST Destiny. TTK isn't a new game, it's an EXPANSION. By definition, expansions ADD content, they don't remove it. Bungie, having never designed (or apparently played) an MMO, an RPG, or anything with the potential for expansions, doesn't seem to understand how it works.
-
I wouldn't say bring it back. Redesign to meet y2 standards and put it in the loot table
-
No thanks! That is not what they apologized for; along with many other reasons, that would not be acceptable to me, and I'm sure many others.
-
I suggested something like this. Except it was etheric light and it brought your Weapon to an uninfuseable 280. So you could still play with it, but other year two weapons would severely outlevel it

Fu## Bungie. They are killing this game. Between their shenanigans and all the new games out now, this game is as good as dead.
