I know this is going to be a very unpopular opinion and that's fine but I actually really enjoy the time between big content drops in Destiny a lot. I'm mainly a pvp player and I love that I can focus on pvp completely now without feeling "pressured" by friends, the grind, etc to play pve things I don't want to do. Right now Destiny is awesome for me. I have good gear and I'm more than levelled enough to tackle any end game pvp content. Without focusing on chasing any gear or guns, I can just play pvp to win, improve my skills and have fun! It's not that I couldn't do that any other time in destiny, but now I don't feel like I'm missing out on anything by just playing pvp which is what I like doing the most by far. I really like these times in Destiny because I feel freed from the shackles of the carrot chase and can just chase pvp success and fun instead. Anyone else share a similar view?
