Cabal Strike Idea

This is my last Strike idea for a while. I've made plenty others that if requested, I can post links to. But anyways, enjoy. The Fleet Commander: Cabal Strike Location: Cerberus Vae III, Meridian Bay, Mars Description: "The threat of the Cabal has grown more, and more troublesome in the past year, but now it has reached an all new height of sheer terror. The Cabal have resumed in expanding their Exclusion Zone, but without Valus Ta'aurc to lead them, how they were doing it was unknown until now. Valus Gru'urak commands the Cabal Fleets and Air Forces, using their ships to commence bombing runs along the Zone's borders, as well as attacks on our outposts. If the Cabal begin using their fleets to accomplish their goals, they might become a serious problem. We must end their reign of fear."- Ikora Rey Part 1: An Explosive Entrance
Players spawn in Valley of the Kings, just outside the Cabal Land Tank Cerberus Vae III. They see that the ramp leading inside is closed. There are no enemies around. Ghost: "Uh... Ikora, how are we supposed to get in?" Ikora: "I suppose it is time we start thinking like the Cabal. Find some of their explosives, and detonate them at the door." Now players will wander the area, picking up explosives that are carried like relics. But once they start being picked up, Cabal Skyburners drop down to stop the players. Once enough explosives are placed, players will shoot the explosives to detonate them. Immediately, inside alarms can be heard beeping, but also an outside alarm starts wailing, signaling a bombing run. Ghost: "Get inside, quickly!" Once all players are in, they see bombs being dropped outside. They push into the Land Tank.
Part 2: Under Lock and Key
Instead of going left towards Ta'aurc's room, players go to the right hallway, which is a new path. Ikora: "Once reports of Cabal air strikes across Mars came through to us, we knew we had to assess the threat. The Cabal are strategic geniuses, and combining that with their anger towards losing so many commanders, equals something in need of quelling." Ghost: "How many of them have we killed in one year? Let's see: Ta'aurc, Ta'aun, Mau'aul, Tlu'urn, Sha'aull, Tho'ourg. The lists goes on and on... Yeah, I can see why they'd be mad." Players reemerge outside at a runway with Cabal fighter ships parked along it. Behind them, a communications tower sits on top of the Land Tank. Ikora: "I had never known Cerberus Vae came with a runway..." Ghost: "According to my tracker, Valus Gru'urak is at the top of that comms tower, monitoring his fleets." Players run to the left side of the runway, fighting off Cabal while doing so. Once there, they go inside, and are directed towards a large elevator. Ghost: "The elevator can only be accessed through a set of security codes. I can try to hack in, but we don't want a replay of what happened when we first came to Mars, do we?" Now players will hunt down 3 Phalanxes named "Fleet Officer(s.)" Their names are "Du'urak," "Fa'aut," and "Eja'aat." Once they're killed, all players will return to the elevator door, and put in the security codes. When they do, the door opens, players step inside, and the elevator takes them up.
Part 3/boss fight: Valus Gru'urak, Fleet Commander
When the elevator reaches the top, the door opens, revealing a room filled with computers and radios, Cabal chatter constantly emitting from them. The room is entirely surrounded by glass windows. Then the radios suddenly go silent. The ground shakes, as a never before seen ship appears outside. It shoots open one of the windows. Ghost: "Gru'urak is inside that thing! Take it down!" Players focus fire on the ship's weapons: 2 miniguns, and 2 rocket cannons on the wings. Once all the weapons are destroyed, the ship begins smoking, and bursting into flames. The pilot -Valus Gru'urak- jumps out at the last second just as his ship crashes into the tower somewhere below. Gru'urak is as tall as Ta'aurc or the Shield Bros., and is equipped with a massive rocket launcher mounted on his shoulder. His helmet looks like helmets worn by Greek soldiers, because the feathers on his helmet are not shaped like a mohawk, but rather they go left to right across the helmet rather than from front to back. Anyways, in addition to Gru'urak, Cabal dropships drop off Cabal through the hole in the window. Gru'urak's rocket launcher fires multiple rockets that track their targets. One added feature is that if players focus fire on separate chunks of his armor, that armor piece will go flying off, revealing another weakpoint that deals critical damage when hit. In addition to his rockets, Gru'urak will sometimes throw either grenades that stick to walls, or molotov-like grenades that create a pool of fire where they land. Eventually, Gru'urak is defeated. Ikora: "Well done, Guardian. Your work has ensured that the Exclusion Zone ceases to expand, taken away yet another leadership figure from the Cabal, and kept our City, and home safe another day." Strike over.
STRIKE LOOT 1: Gru'urak's Cannon: Legendary Rocket Launcher (Solar.)
"The birds shall peck at our flesh no more." Perk: Gru'urak's Wrath Rockets split into multiple shells that can track more than one target at once.
2: Helm of the Valus: Legendary Titan Helmet
"I cannot stay. The skies, and the stars are calling to me."- Valus Gru'urak Perk: Flight of the Valkyries Rocket launcher accuracy is increased while in the air with this helmet equipped. Agility also increased. This is Gru'urak's helmet, as described before.
GRIMOIRE 1: Fleet Officers
"I assume you still remember how much I scorned you when you all were recruits, correct?" "Correct, sir--" "I'm not finished, Du'urak! I guess you still haven't learned to keep your mouth shut until you are allowed to speak." "Sorry, sir." "How, back in the days of old, I called all of you "useless, pathetic, worthless Hive-fodder." I will say that I did not mean that. That was simply to give you some initiative to work harder. In reality, you all were spectacular, just not quite to spectrum yet." "Thank y--" "I'M NOT FINISHED YET!!! Shut your goddamn mouth, Du'urak! DO YOU UNDERSTAND ME?!" Du'urak sighs, "Yes sir..." "As I was saying," the Valus continues, his heavy suit vibrating the room slightly as he slowly paces the room, "now I believe it is time you three get promoted. I am herby promoting all of you to my personal officers. You will guard, and protect me at all costs. Understood?" He turns his head to Du'urak, "Now, you may speak." "Thank you sir, I won't let you down." Du'urak says quietly. "You better hope you don't, and that if you do, you die before I come for you. You are all dismissed." "Yes sir." The three Phalanxes say in unison, marching out of Gru'urak's office.
2: Valus Gru'urak, Fleet Commander
"ATTENTION, ATTENTION, this is Firebase RUBICON on planet RED DUNE broadcasting an emergency distress signal across all channels, anyone receiving this please respond! I repeat--" "This is SKYBURNER fleet CERBERUS II, your transmission has been received. What do you request?" "Requesting immediate reinforcements across RED DUNE. We've lost other Firebases to the undead, and to the machines. We've lost communication with Firebase DELPHI, and Firebase THURIA." "10-4, reinforcements are en route, and Valus Gru'urak will be arriving himself. He wants to know where to land." "Land at CERBERUS VAE III. I say again, CERBERUS VAE III." "Understood, we will be there shortly." "--------------" "Hello? Cerberus Vae, are you there? Hello?"
Thanks for reading! Feedback is appreciated!
