During my time playing this game, I've added plenty of friends to my roster. With the issues people are having of people dropping during strikes or other content that is difficult/impossible to solo, I think guardian tech needs some upgrades to include sending a distress beacon to fellow players requesting backup. How we could do this: Add a toggle (on/off) button in the ghost menu for "Requesting backup". This automatically turns off once fireteam fills up. In the roster section, your names will flash or emit a yellow 'echo' around your gamertag (similar to how you can tell when someone has their super charged). People who are requesting backup could be moved to the front of the friend pages. Description of current activity would remain the same. Just an idea. An additional idea for this could be setting up a filter for a player seeking to help out others by activity type: e.g. 'only show me distress beacons for raids and nightfalls' or 'distress beacons only for daily mission'. What do you all think?
