I know this isn't an MMO. But it has so many aspects of it. The BIGGEST issue in this game IMHO is the looting and reward system in this game. This is the thing that frustrates the community the most. It was an issue in year 1, and even Bungie admitted it and tried to fix it, but it's still the same old nonsense. And now with the light system, EVEN WORSE and more frustrating. I said it in year one, and i'll say it again. Destiny needs to have a no lockout and/or, roll/vote system just like normal MMO's in it for loot. This will help out the stupid grind across the board. My proposal goes like this: (worste case scenario... if no other fix is implemented, fix #1 is a MUST have, to save destiny) Fix #1: Allow guardians to run the raid more than once a week with the same guardian. With RNG being so stupid, only being able to run it once a week discourages the guardian when they don't get what they are looking for or something even useful, because now we have to wait a whole week before getting an attempt to do it again, and possibly have the same disappointment happen all over again. It doesn't have to be unlimited, but at least 3 to 5 times per week. Suggested Fix #2: In most MMO's the raid leader (party leader in Destiny) is the only one who can see the drops and lets the party roll on items. Even though I'm a fan of this, I have thought about it, and think it would be pretty difficult to implement a totally new system in Destiny as well as not allowing guardians to open their own chests, and leaving 12 or more items every chest or boss fight up to the Party leader to hand out. This would really slow things down. My proposal is to still allow others to open chests and see what gear has dropped, but if they don't need it, allow that item to be rolled on or traded in that moment (not later... but in that exact moment). Or, allow the party leader to hand out items as mentioned. this needs resolved... or destiny is going to have real issues on their hands. More and more people are getting annoyed at this game. And it has nothing to do with the game itself, but the reward system. This would help A LOT!
