Do people know how to play control?
So I'm playing control doing one of the best on my team and all of a sudden I notice my team is losing. And that the other team has all control points.
So when I try to cap a point a Sunbreaker or GG comes up and kills me. While my teammates are off in the middle of buttf[b]u[/b]ck nowhere basically getting murdered and playing like its slayer or clash and not capping the f[b]u[/b]cking points
So I've won one or two games but because my teammates CANT CAP WIDE OPEN ZONES OR AT LEAST HELP WITH KILLING ENEMIES HEADING THERE I've lost all the rest the games
This is really frustrating
Just wanted to let off a little steam but people need to learn how to play control
I feel like someone is going to mute me just for saying cap instead of capture

I dont bother capping zone often. I tend to defend them pretty well by staying around and picking off rushers Staying at a zone puts you as an easy target and id rather buy my team time

I've always been a slayer so I don't even cap my own spawn flag. Some are slayers and some are Obj it's just how it is. Even in control if they have 2 flags but you have a team of good slayers you'll win since kills count towards points.

Heh, always love starting a control match and watching all of my team split towards different directions leaving me to cap A/C alone...

Yeah, you just run around the flags killing people, who cares about the flags? Am I right?

I found the best strat that works for me is to not capture but attack the enemy before they can cap a zone. I've been top scorer during iron banana with zero captures. If you played with me I'm sorry I had an off game :(

When you play solo, you do what your team does...period...your mad at your team, when you just admitted to being alone, "doing the objectives", while your team is off somewhere "getting murdered"... You clearly don't understand teamwork, which is how you win any game...

When I play control I don't capture zones, I defend them :) I love how people think you need to be moving from point to point to point capturing. Killing an ass ton of people is actually helping you capture your zones, you just don't see it, I guess.

It's true. I should never be the only one at a flag! It would be so easy to go three and three and let them come to us. Or four and two?

Well most people on the forums think that since kills give points, there's no need to go for B flag.

I try to kill everyone and cap points. I only cap 2 points at a time though because I don't want the spawns to flip.

I don't think that some people know how to play PvP at all......not just control....the whole PvP part of this game.

1 ReplyEdited by Wldcatt: 11/8/2015 6:45:19 PMI agree. The point system needs changed. You get so few points for capturing vs. killing. It makes you think you are doing it wrong when you capture 8 zones and land at the bottom of the leaderboard.

Yea you run around and kill people when they clump up in stupid places then you run to the next place and kill them again

2 RepliesControl is not Zone Control, so kills still matter. If your team gets more kills, you can easily win the match with just one Zone. Loosing all Zones though is bad. But obviously you where as well not caring about defending those zones ;)
