Online Stats section at Bungie.net (Bungie staff please read)
I have a question for you at bungie, and you fans here. For bungie, I know you guys are going to implement XBOX live stats on bungie.net, but will this section also include Halo PC/MAC stats? I know it's a different system to track, but it would still be neat. For the fans, give a shout as to what you would like to see on the stats page.

Probably just Halo 2 stats and that's it, but who knows what kind of plans those uber brains of bungie have.

Even if this was practical, it'd probably have to be GameSpy doing it rather than Bungie, and then you'd need to some how integrate stats from the three versions of the game... which is where things would get REALLY messy, as you have to factor in for mods on the PC side as well as for vehicle and gameplay options that the Xbox doesn't have. I think it's a fair bet you'll never see this.

Right now the only "stat" we can easily get out of the game is just the number of players (as seen on the Halo PC/Mac main page). Unfortunately the game itself doesn't support stats, so it comes down to custom tweaks and programs. I know a few folks out there have created some cool apps that provide some basic stats for a server that has the bit installed. We might be able to integrate something like that in the future but right now our main focus is on Halo 2 and the relationship with Bungie.net and Xbox Live.
