The First Curse needs a buff
I got the first curse bounty last week and its arms day and i got the next part of the bounty which is using a prototype. you have to infuse it, kill stuff in pve with it, but what i don't agree with is the fact that i have to take that gun into crucible and get a 7 head shot kill spree even tho its perks and base stats are crap and the hand cannons have been nerfed. and then on top of that people will see me using it and think i'm doing the bounty, so they will chase me down and target me for the duration of the match making it impossible to complete, and don't say its not just because you seen somebody on youtube do it because they damn well have a whole lobby of fans who watches them on youtube waiting in a line to be shot in the head just to help. and lets say i did finish it, i have to wait again for a gun that is the same re-skined exotic version of imprecation that don't feel exotic,has terrible base stats and is in the same subclass of primary guns that has been nerfed, you doing the same thing you did to auto rifles to hand cannons just because of a bunch of cry babys,. im better off just keeping the common version and use that instead of wasting my time on a crap exotic that is stupid hard to get, just make first curse worth grinding for and make the bounty more easy. thank you.

its not that i'm trying to cry or bitch about anything like other people do, i am 100% confident i can finish the bounty. i was just giving my feedback, and to those who go off on peoples post and text hurtful things i just wanna let you know that its people like you who make other people not wanna give feedback, play this game or be a part of this community. and for the people who texted helpful info, thank you your all wonderful.

I got mine 2 weeks ago easy bounty you suck balls and need to get some skill quit being a trash cry baby and asking bungie to make things easy for you cause you suck! 1 ReplyDid the 7 kill head shot spree in one match. Kill 7 enemies rapidly in one go. You should earn it like everyone else before you. Bungie isn't going to 'fix' the problem when the problem is that you aren't good enough.

3 Repliesagreed. imprecation is completely worthless and makes you a target for tryhards. my biggest issue is people stealing my kills before ican hit them with the final bullet. all i get are assists or dead. to get seven headshots with it in one match is asking way too much. it is literally the worst gun ive had to use for any quest, in any game, ever. and if the first curse is gonna be pretty much the same then why even do the bounty?

Crucible part is easy I did it in one match and I suck at and hate pvp. You don't need a streak just 7 head shot kills in one match not even one life.

12 RepliesYou don't need a kill spree in crucible, that part you do in PVE. Try Siege of the Warmind on hard and you can do it easily. For the 7 kills in crucible, I found this hard so in the end I resorted to going in with a buddy and he let me headshot him 7 times. Not pleased I did that but the gun is terrible!

2 RepliesLook, I understand your frustration and you're trying to validate your efforts for the end reward of the daunting quest. However, the crucible portion isn't as bad as you think. Give Rumble a try. You'll be surprised how much easier it is. Also, realize it's just 7 precision kills in one match. Spree is technically improper terminology. Take it from a person who's never been to the lighthouse, averages about 1.0k/d and still did it in my first match of Rumble. You can manage and the gun isn't as bad as it looks on paper. It performs a lot better than you might expect. Plus it's actually decent in PvE. Give it a shot and see how it goes before you give in to the trolls.

I did this the other day and hated every minute. I can go into PVE and get headshots all day long on moving targets. It took me six hours to complete and in only one of those matches I got five, then I done it. My point is I used the same technique but for whatever reason (lag probably) what I was convinced was a headshot didn't count. Also the test gun was absolutely shite.

Got this crappy hand cannon, only to then get a Judith-D which is the exact same thing only purple. Those mobility perks do nothing. Well, maybe if you ran from Boston to Detroit while ADS, you'd get there 3 minutes sooner.

I did the quest just fine all legit I'm not on YouTube or anything your just bad at crucible and can't get a head shot, I bet you were one of those players who used thorn before nerf

I would feel this way until I realized a single firebolt grenade with burn plus a headshot with the first curse was a guaranteed kill.

1 ReplySo I've been thinking... One way to make this gun good would be when you active the curse perk it increases all stats of the gun...for rof reload dmg ect basically making it a crazy good gun but here's the catch... NO SHIELD REGENERATION... Meaning that after the curse is on you have (at best) 6 shots and you are able to 2 shot all enemies but since your shields don't regenerate you have to make a decision... Reload and get your shields back or stick with what you have and risk it. Also I think that your shields should regenerate right after the curse activates but then that's it. So let me know what you guys think of this idea

Get the gun first, use it then repost, or change this post heading, it's misleading.

From what i can find i only need to infuse imprecation to atk 260 but i just infused to atk 267 and i am still not completing the infuse portion. has anyone else had this issue? should i infuse to 280 atk instead to see if that works? im just confused now. Sorry to post this here i just cant find any other place that could get a answer

5 RepliesIt needs to ACTUALLY reward a player for their precision shots instead of claiming to! Possibly grant bonus damage upon each consecutive precision shot until your next reload therefore allowing u to see the difference upon reloads

I think with a mag of 13 the weapon will work fine. I was using it in the crucible, yes you can get kills, the problem is tou end up reloading after every kill and that makes this weapon exotic perk obsolete. I have a timurs lash with luck in the chamber, perfect balance and outlaw, thats a gun! The 1st curse its really a curse!!!

1 ReplyThe reason you think TFC is bad is because you don't know how it is meant to be used. If you Read the weapons tuning 2.0 you would see that TFC is the perfect hand cannon as it does greatly reward agility under fire.
