• well to make an F6 would require a huge low an high presure system and the stongest updraft in the history of the planet.....319 M.P.H winds would destory everything and the base would be at least 3 miles wide......The supercell to produce that tornadoes would have to have basketball size hail and in theroy about 3-4 inch of rain an hour.....it isn't likly though because of the pure amount of sunlight that would be needed to build up this supercell. EDIT: and if you took offence to me calling your area redneck i am sorry...some of oklahoma is really quite nice.....i was hoping to study tornadoes but my math skills suck so i had to get rid of that dream....although i do plan on coming down there in about 2 years. •
Posted by: Butane123 The bigest high and low presures systems ever recorded crashing into each other. Here is an excerpt from the fujita scale on an F6 tornado: F6 Inconceivable tornado 319-379 mph These winds are very unlikely. The small area of damage they might produce would probably not be recognizable along with the mess produced by F4 and F5 wind that would surround the F6 winds. Missiles, such as cars and refrigerators would do serious secondary damage that could not be directly identified as F6 damage. If this level is ever achieved, evidence for it might only be found in some manner of ground swirl pattern, for it may never be identifiable through engineering studies
But what about an F 9845yg90845ht98743ht9w734g tornado? Oh and by the way, last morning (June 22), we got hit by a storm at 4 AM. Lightning like 2-3 times a second. One struck like 350 feet away. Good thing I wasn't sleeping, I would have most defenateley -blam!- myself.

Neighborhoods were destroyed, businesses demolished, and mass dstruction everywhere. I was about 10 minutes from the destruction path of this terror of nature. I loved every hair raising moment of it. A few years later to the day a less violent F3 tornado blew across the almost same exact path. I loved that moment as well. I have stood outside and watched a funnel cloud form over my head, only to have it hit the building I went into. It was only an F1, but that was the one of the greatest experiences of my life.
Dude! I'm in Tulsa. Boomer Sooner!!! Unless you love the horrible school of OSU. • If you love that, the you will heart a CAT 5 hurricane blowing over you. It's like a tornado, but much longer, bigger, and wetter. Hmmmm, we should be getting one this summer.

 • So technically speaking, what kind of conditions would have to be achieved to have an F6 tornado?

 •
Posted by: mad sniper24 Did they classify it as an F5 Butane? I remember hearing it as an F6. My bad. As for the suburb part, I like to hunt and fish and participate in such redneck activities. I also like having the convenience of malls and 24 hr stores. So I am an suburban redneck you could say.
It was an F5, F6's are theoretically possible, but you would have to have the most extreme conditions for one to spawn (I don't want to get techinical), which has a very very very slim chance of happening. For the Redneck part I live in a suburban community and I love to fish.
