Has the "Taken King" taken the game away from us?

Look... I'm not here to rage, because that never solves anything, but I feel that I have a duty to at least say something. DON'T EVER BUY DESTINY OR ANYTHING THAT COMES ALONG WITH IT. Now for those of you (my self included) who have spent countless hours playing this game, not to mention the money, I am truly sorry. I wish I could say there is hope... But I would be lying to all of you. NO, you will not get your money back, NO, they will not fix the issues, and NO, they will not listen to the "hate", for a couple of reasons. #1- They are too deep to change the tide of the game now. In other words, the game has been out for far too long, and they are not going to fix something broken, when they can just make a new ("Destiny 2") game. #2- I don't fully blame Bungie, except for the fact that they foolishly teamed up with Activision. Which brings me to my second point. I believe that Activision is the real problem. It's all about the money for them, I mean just look at "Call of Duty". It's as little content for as much as they can sell it for. Oh, and there is the DLC which is all bundled up "pre game" for the same grand total of $60. And that's if you want all the content "which" should have come with the original game. They did the same for destiny, except for one big ugly difference. But first let me finish my thoughts. They won't fix it because Activision is trying to take as much from you as they can, and they don't care about ruining Bungie's name in the process. Ok, now that that's out of the way, I'll get to my main point. For those of you who bought the game from launch, and bought all the DLC... You have been horribly and unjustly taken advantage of. And here's why. You paid at least $90 for the whole package (or so you thought), and spent about 300/500 hours depending on how committed you were to the game. That is a large chunk of time, that's about 12/25 full 24 hr days. "Time is money", so they didn't just take your money, they took your time, which realistically translates into money. Now let's say you are making minimum wage, which where I live is about $10, that means they really took over $30,000/100,000$ from your potential wallet. Now you could say that about a ot of different things in your life, but it really comes down to this, "did you make a return on your investment?". Now a lot of you might say you did, but most of the voices I've heard say they didn't. So now, here we are a year from its release... And what do we have? Well that's open to opinion, but my opinion is this: "The game which cost more for me to get than the average game, gave me less than an average game would have". I would have said this a couple of months ago, but now I have something different to say. The real reason I'm here is because of the recently released "Taken King" expansion. Now let me make myself clear, I was done with Destiny long before TK came out. But I didn't say anything because I was making the best of a bad situation. "But now you can pay another $40 to get all your content back! But wait there's more, you get all new classes which we decided not to give you because we thought you needed a whole year to play our not fully completed yet total inexpensive game". Yeah... right. Yes, they made it so if you don't own the "Taken King" more than half of the game is locked. So you buy the game and all that comes with it, and yet they can legally take that same game away from you? Money, money, money. Life sucks sometimes, but what can we do? Here's my solution. First, not playing there game is not enough. Not buying any of there stuff is a little better, but still not enough. They already sucked you dry. But what can we do? How about we keep potential unsuspecting buyers from making the same mistake we made. That means we should tell our friends, family, and even people we don't know to avoid this game at all costs. If we do that, at least they can't take anyone else's money. And for those of you who don't yet have the game, I know that the $60 for the whole package might look good, but it's only going to get worse. Buy it now, and it will be just as bad for you later as it is for us now. Last, but not least, I would not have sat here writing this for myself. I'm only doing this so that people can be more aware, and make better decisions based on the information I've given. You my agree or disagree with me, but this is only my opinion, and me using my free speech. So I'm sorry if your offended, it was not intentional. Thank you for taking your time to read my "long" post, I hoped it helped. If you are wanting anymore details just ask in the comments, thanks again. ~Tyghe
