I feel like people on here often forget that everyone has a here a life outside of Destiny. Who wants to share something about it?
Guys just remember, it may be the internet but there is a real person behind every profile that deserves respect :-)

Looking at some post I made a while back, I noticed a lack of clarity in the previous one I made. Smoggy, I'm sorry. What I said wasn't meant for you. I found your post interesting. It was the following response. It seemed thrown in without thought. Likely a person enjoying the sensation many times renewed by parents or perhaps some respected older figure that implanted within them the grandiose idea of being special. So good for you all!!! Remember, ¡¡YOU CAN DO ANYTHING!! Anything you desire is possible! Forget reason! Forget logic! If you dream it all is possible!! So, here's a controversial correction on my past statement. Going to BU, Bungie university. We learn how to hype up a whole community and let them down! I'm doing it right now! Next quarter we are learning about nerfing stuff!

I don't know if this counts but I'm super proud of what I do for a living. I work with developmentally disabled adults, in a group home setting. It is often difficult and frustrating, demanding and emotionally draining, but I love it. When I see one of my folks using a skill I taught them (sorting laundry, or making a sandwich, or even just tying their shoes) and being proud of themselves for being able to do it alone, my heart just about bursts. When someone is having a bad day and I can make them smile or laugh, that's a huge deal. One of our guys had a bucket list and one of the things on the list was to see the Statue of Liberty. So I took him there. Another wanted to go to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, so we spent a few days in Cleveland. I wish more people could see what we do and what we deal with, and maybe the disabled population would become less marginalized and mocked. They try so hard to be accepted for who they are, and the struggles they go through every single day would break some "normal" people I know. That's all. I'm proud of the work that I do.

My son started nursery this year. He's only 3 but is progressing at an extremely amazing rate and looks set to start primary school next year. Most people look stunned when I tell them he's younger than he is. So I would say he is what I am most proud of.

I hate to sound corny, but I'm proud of my son. that little -blam!-er has been around for 4 years, he's incredibly smart, energetic, and he doesn't have a single hateful bone in his body. He is also the only thing that has kept me going since he was born and The only way I can repay that is to be the best damn father that I can.
