No shot package. Lmao. The scrubs have spoken.
The scrubs have whined to their Bungie overlords. And they have brought their mighty nerf hammer and violated our beloved shot package.
But now the question is
After they realize that they still suck D[i]i[/i]ck at crucible what will the crybabies get nerfed next???
So yea. Everyone down for this nerf really sucked at crucible. If you can't prevent a shotgun from getting near you [b]IN A GAME WHERE YOU HAVE A F[i]U[/i]CKING RADAR IN THE TOP LEFT OF THE F[i]U[/i]CKING SCREEN!!!! 4 RepliesI think the issue isn't just the range, but the class in general. Honestly, the uber range that some shotguns is a problem (both Y1 and 2), but not [i]the[/i] problem. Here's what I think the logic was: > Lay out all complaints regarding the weapon class that seems to dominate most crucible games (at least in my experience). > Find the common complaint: ------ Sniper range shotguns > Begin tweaking (nerfing) that problem little by little to "test" the outcome. > Repeat until weapon class dies (SUROS and AR disaster). > Move on to next class. I don't agree that the shot package nerf was a good idea, but I don't disagree either. It was indeed annoying being sniped down a hallway with a near max range Fellwinters all the time. This not including the fact the entire shotgun class takes almost zero skill to use (hence why the majority uses them). All in all, I'm just sitting back with my 1000yd stare and fusions and watching the world go insane with shotgunarrhea.

3 RepliesI don't care bout the nerf and I do use a shotgun. Thing is, it was kinda op. I know a shotty should be op but it's that +map design that allows for shotguns to be ran as a primary weapon. You simply cannot deny that it was op since everyone was using it. I recommend the dead orbit shotgun now. Decent range, crowd control and extended range while aiming. It's pretty bawsy

I agree ^ shotguns are situational, poor players just run into them all the time and get splatted. Then cry for a nerf and get it. The trick is, don't use any weapon that you are really good with. Because it will end up being nerfed to hell by the cry babies ;)

This made me think... Are there even FPS game developers that respect their community? Or should I spend my money on virtual dance moves? I will now probably have a shotgun with kneepads and..... kneepads. Maybe I slide twice as far? Don't think anyone will get a refund on their motes of light, weapon parts and glimmer. Another big Bungie middle finger up our assholes.

Why in the hell bungie listens to these crybaby PvP pieces of shit is beyond me, they've ruined nearly every aspect of this game at one point or another. Nerfing hand cannons, nefring the mythoclast, nerfing shotguns then buffing shotguns now nerfing them again. And I suck at PvP and this still irritates me. I have two good shots with shot packages that I use in PvE. Now because of PvP, I have to suffer too!?! This is insane!

9 RepliesI haven't agreed with any of the nerfs and I don't believe in this one. That being said, I do think shotguns were too prevalent in crucible. If it was up to me I would have just made special ammo harder to come by.
