[BUNGIE][UPDATED: 10/12 - 4:29PM PDT] Xbox consoles inaccurately recieving "Trial Ended," "Requires Xbox Live Gold" and "Purchase The Taken King" in-game messages
Hi everyone,
Bungie is aware of an ongoing issue that is impacting players on both Xbox 360 and Xbox One. This issue may include any of the following symptoms:
- A message saying "Your Trial has ended" or "You have reached the maximum level"
- An in-game offer to purchase Destiny: The Taken King despite already owning this content
- Inability to join activities that require Xbox Live Gold, including daily or weekly activities and the Crucible
We are working with our partners at Microsoft to investigate this issue. We will provide updates here as soon as they are available.

We are investigating a potential fix for this issue. If you continue to experience any of the above symptoms [u]after the time of this update[/u], please reply below with the [u]exact time the error occurred[/u] (including time-zone!), and specify which of the above symptoms you experienced.

We have implemented an additional fix for issues related to Xbox content authorization. If you are still experiencing issues related to "Purchase The Taken King" or "Your Trial has Ended" notifications, please try [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/12181]restoring your licenses[/url]. If this does not resolve your issue, contact Microsoft Xbox Support to verify that your Xbox Live account has all of the required licenses attached to your account. If you are unable to resolve your issues by following these steps, please reply below.

It's quite annoying as I don't often play on-line games cause usually as a newbie I get trolled by other players or they don't like newbies so I often stay away or play the mission by myself. I would rather join in this time and be able to access all parts of the game I paid for. I have search the internet for solutions but came across non and seeing I not the only person with the same issues I though it would have been fixed by now since your post was October 2015. I very disappointed with the whole destiny taken king as I not really getting the full benefits from it. Please get it sorted. GMT February 19 2016 requirements not met message on all parts that need xbox live access

i am having the issue of '- An in-game offer to purchase Destiny: The Taken King despite already owning this content' and i am locked out of playing it and i have already contacted Microsoft they asked me to contacted Activision and i did bit they ether ignore me or tell me to come and contact you pleace help

3 RepliesMy game is currently saying welcome to the trail, after that it asks me to buy the taken king dlc. I currently own all of the dlc (if you look at my profile you can see all of my characters are 40). I have contacted Microsoft support and we have been unable to resolve the issue. I was told I have all necessary licenses. Issue began on 10/20 not exactly sure the exact time. I would like to play again. and not miss out on daily events so please contact me if there is a way to fix this.

I had no option to download again. Would love to have Bungie respond. I didn't purchase Destiny until the Taken King bundle came out. Please help.

A while ago I owned an xbox one with destiny and the first two expansions. Then after having to sell my xbox (with all games), a few days ago I bought another xbox one. I re-downloaded destiny, with the first two expansions onto my hard drive, I then bought the taken king and started to download that onto my hard drive too, but whilst this was downloading I downloaded the trial version. When the taken king finished downloading it seemed to of gotten stuck in the trial mode. I am now unable to participate in any crucible matches, strikes, story missions, the only thing I am able to is visit the tower. I have uninstalled and re-installed all 3 expansions twice now, but it's still stuck in trial mode.

How about some helpfor people un able to play because of rampant baboon errors. I got literally 15 to 20 of them in a two hour period. This game is beyond unplayable with all this crap going on.

1 ReplyI got the game from a licence transfer after I max out my characters level at 7 then after I installed it the first time it kept saying I'm in trial mode but now after 3 more times of uninstalling and reinstalling now it's saying I have not met the requirements please help me this is nuts

So is line #2 supposed to fix the issue on the Xbox360, where other accounts cannot play the Taken King (such as in the link above), and we are required to use a 2 controller Hack for family members to play?

4 RepliesI bought ttk and I didn't even get a chance to play it. I spent $60 on the game, $20 on the dark below, and 60 on ttk. $140 is a lot to pay on a game that doesn't work well. Is there any info about a fix for this? Anything eta on a fix? I would like to know when I can play the game I just bought.

How do you expect me to play the game like this???????? It started on the 10th and has been like this for over a week. I have stayed with this game throw all the crap and no story, but this is a deal breaker if i cant even play the dam thing!!!!!

2 RepliesHmmm. I suffered from the above and it appears the fix resolved the issue because I didn't experience any further issues. With the update deployed I can now no longer access Destiny...Error Destiny servers are not available. Are these linked? Done the content, donee the licenses, done the xbox live....well? Any comments?

Well if during this problem i uninstalled my TTK to try to download it again but on the Xbox one marketplace its says unavailable Edit-oh and by the way there are i few more people who have been having this problem from what i read over the past couple of days.

just got kicked from game and returned to orbit Xbox one 1:54 pm c.m.t. USA. message was the same as before you left fire team and have been returned to orbit.

Dear bungie/greed filled industry, why in the world would you add a new currency that you have to pay for with real money, do you not get enough from us anyway I have two consoles with two profiles and have spent roughly £300 on this game, even though Sony get exclusive rights to more content , you are treating your customer base poorly I am year 1 so do I get more "silver", no I don't I purchased collectors editions twice do I get same content as Sony collectors, "no I do not", sort yourself out bungie.
