Just finished collecting the memories, doing the jumping puzzle, beating the Taken boss etc then I receive the cult ghost after opening the chest.
Just as I'm about to hand it in I then hear rumours there could be connection to the ghost and the Sleeper Simulant!? Please some1 shed some light on this cause I'm struggling to see what possible connection there could be, just want to hand it in but knowing my luck they'll be some truth to this

I don't think it's related. Similar to how everything is playing out today with the SS, I think the FWC ghost is tied to No Time To Explain. I saw a previous post (can't find it now) that showed the classified mission items and the SS stuff was grouped together, then the NTTE stuff was listed. I'd say keep your eyes peeled for another random mission to pop up.

My friend turned it in and got one of those legendary fusion rifle drops ended in 005 might be a clue I dunno
-
Every dumbass out there is trying to make everything found somehow related to the sleeper stimulant. It's dumb as hell. Turn it in, get your motes and your faction xp and move on, simple as that. Don't waste your time with these stupid sleeper stimulant rumors until someone has something verifiable to go along with them to prove.

Bungie would not tell you to hand it in and turn around to say "ha ha, you did what the game told you to! No exotic for you!" That would be punishing players for doing what they're told.
-
Odds are it leads to No Time to Explain. You turn the Ghost in to FWC, and they do have a 12-step questline that gives a hidden reward. It should be noted that Sleeper Simulant and Touch of Malice are/were listed as hidden rewards as well, respectively.
-
Just turn it in. The requirements for ss are as following 4 djvalin relics 5 golden age relics (the input codes) Charged IKELOS core
-
All these rumors and theories are funny but not true and unreal.
-
Wouldn't know, I got weasel'd when the boss was almost dead. Didn't have time to do it all over again.
-
My guess is that it has to do with No Time to Explain, not Sleeper Simulant.
-
I honestly don't think there's any connection. All I want is to actually use the cult ghost as a ghost shell.
-
You literally just turn it in for motes and rep.

Game informer did a a bunch of articles about TTK before launch. One of them was about Sleeper Stimulant. One clue was that in order to make it you had to gather different items from the Golden Age. It might be that you need to complete all the hidden quests to get these items. If so you are one step closer. I say this because the reward for paradox quest blows!
-
It tells you to turn it in...I turned mine in and still have this new supposed Sleeper Simulant quest line. Safe.
-
Lol nope

Edited by Teq Hmoob: 10/6/2015 4:50:07 PMThere's no connection to sleeper only to preadyth and VOG
-
Hand it in?
-
I just had a huge shit. It's probably more OP than the SS will be. Give it a month or so and we'll all be wondering what the fuss was about.
-
Hand it
-
Has anybody tried turning it in with a maxed and ascended strangers rifle?
-
Apparently everything now connects to Sleeper Simulant. Connecting dots that just aren't there.
-
It's just a grimoire card, nothing more
-
If it connects to an exotic, it most likely connects to "No Time to Explain"
-
The sleeper simulant will be a quest plain and simple. As most quests start once you've hit a specific point or collected something.
-
Every1 says sleeper is like black spindle a special drop so I'd just turn it in. If it isn't delete us least favorite character. N start a new.

Simulant*
