Next one should be up tomorrow.   The lost.   Pt 1 Simpler Times Northern Belarus <56.010540, 28.370899> 5:47 “Catch it!” A man stood balanced on a high tree limb threw his hand out to the right to grab the knife the man on the ground had thrown. He almost wrapped his fingers around the grip when just as he was about to grasp it, it slipped through and slashed his thumb. He yelped in shock and lost his balance. Arkus-Skhal-Est fell and hit the ground with a crash and a curse to a great chorus of laughter. The man who had thrown the knife howled the loudest. “I said you couldn’t do it Titan! That’s’ two hundred glimmer you owe me!” Said Darrus grinning broadly. A woman sat propped against a tree engrossed in a text she was reading being projected by her ghost. She had looked up at the spectacle but spoke now without looking up. “I told you to wear gloves didn’t I? Looks like you’ve cut yourself.” Said Elpis her eyes fixated on the image. Arkus looked at his thumb which indeed had a deep cut running across it. Two other Guardians were resting on the forest floor. The other Warlock got up and walked over. “You ought to get that patched up, the Cryptachs claim that Fallen can smell blood.” Darrus turned, still grinning, “Lighten up. They can’t say for sure and we all know how unreliable the Cryptachs are. And we were just having a bit of fun. Why can’t all Awoken be more like Arkus? He’s the only one of your kind I’ve met that can take a joke.” The warlock put up his hands. “I’m just saying, we should be hunting Fallen, not the other way around.” Arkus smiled. “It was a little bit of fun Vaska. You want a try?” Vaska rolled his eyes and went back to where the other member of the team was-sleeping? (Can Exo’s technically sleep?) The other two looked at each other. “Best of three?” they both said. Then laughed. “Oh you are going to be so deep in debt!” said Darrus, running off to retrieve his knife. Arkus heaved himself upwards and had just walked out onto the branch when a face pressed out of the leaves above him. He was so off guard he yelped in surprise, then again as he lost his balance and fell for the second time. Not a moment after he hit the ground another titan landed beside him. “Fallen scouts coming this way everyone behind cover”, she cast a look at the sleeping Exo. “And someone wake up Cayde.”
