We see patterns of speech change and instead of two separate beings -- we now have one symbiotic relationship maneuvering to the benefit of both. After becoming Oryx, Aurash continuously finishes his thoughts in the Books of Sorrow with a pattern of speech similar to[i] "[b]oh _____ mine[/b]"[/i]. Showing that his Worm is speaking through him. It influences his behavior and they both benefit... The part of the card about them being made extinct is the obvious lie. Lying about them being gone -- would render their influence outside of the minds of those who think they're actually gone...
