So I just got the alchemist's Robes for my warlock and I'll be using them as my exotic do to the increased heavy ammo drop rate, the arc armor I got rolled on it, and, of course, because they look SO epic! But, honestly, the Iron to Gold perk on it sucks. Glimmer has never been hard to get and is so much easier to get now with the ghost shell perks and all that. Therfore glimmer is [i]not[/i] the gold of destiny. What is the real gold of destiny, you ask? Why of course it's the seeds of ruin: heavy ammo. So my idea was to change the Iron to Gold perk to have a chance to pick up heavy ammo from a primary ammo brick, instead of glimmer. Of course that would need to be turned off in pvp, and have to have an appropriate chance rate to how often primary ammo bricks do drop, but I really believe that this one change could match the pve performance of this [i]exotic[/i] armor piece to the same tier of its epic design. (and it'll let you use your sword more ;D) Hopefully this idea will reach someone who can make it happen!
