The primary reason that Bungie said that they didn't want to add matchmaking to Nightfalls, even after they added it for Heroics, was that, when you die, you get sent to orbit. Since you're not a part of a "real" fireteam, you wouldn't be able to try again with the same people. I'm guessing that's because it would separate you upon reaching orbit. But that doesn't even matter anymore, because you are no longer sent to orbit if everyone dies. Please add matchmaking to Nightfalls, Bungie. It would be nice to be able to choose between a solo or matchmade game, but if I had to choose, I would go matchmaking all the way. Even with less than stellar teammates, it's still doable with a bit of patience and much faster than going solo. They are just the same strikes everyone has done dozens of times before with modifiers. There's no reason to not have it anymore. You've basically said so yourself by taking out the one thing that was supposedly keeping you from adding it before.
