yes, i am wondering that too. if you guys are working on Halo 3 then i will leave you be because i want Halo 3 to be the best it can be, but if you aren't, then i think i speak for everyone when i say " get them new friggin levels out!"

actually, i think that the sniper and the rockets enhance the game: if you cant get to them first, then thst sucks for you. also, i do get your point. some people just sit together and act like " panzies " with stupid newb combos or rockets just waithing for you to come so they can blow you to shreds.

once on waterworks i was in front of the base and i tried to smack this guy inside the window on the side of the base and i fell through the ground and bam, "you were killed by the guardians." it also happens a LOT when i flip the warthog from above 3rd post on the 10th page! [Edited on 5/22/2005]

Man!!!! that was beautiful..What a rant! I so hate halo nerds...the only reason I read most of this crap is so some hack/cheat middle school nerd has less of a chance to ruin my game. thank you for those words, I am inspired to play again.

The thing I don't get is you guys are banning people for talking trash. I find that ironic because when xbox live started out using the headset to trash talk was their whole marketing ploy. Now you get banned if you do it. That seems very hypocritical. If you ask me trash talking makes the games more fun and competitive. It instills a motivation to play better and make the other player (the one who is talking trash) to shut up. Get back to me on this.

Oh, there is one more thing I would like to address. There is a way in clan matched slayer games to cheat a win. I would type it here, but I won't. Because then, of course, everyone would start to do it. But I don't know where I should address these issues. Frankie or somebody please tell me where I can send messages that won't be read by anybody but Bungie. Thank you.

I think there should be a double team slayer and double team skirmish for matchmaking. I enjoy the double team slayer but I truly dislike the double team skirmish games. I think it would be a good idea to do this for the next auto update.

When all the maps are out what will happen to the "team preview"? Will that just be deleted and the maps added to skirmish and slayer

I don't know how Frankie determines which questions to answer, and where he looks for them, but I can only hope he addresses one of the three questions listed here: 1. Would it be possible to make taunts, dances, and poses available for use with the White button? It's not getting used, a bunch of funny moves would be a great way to populate it. 2. Would it be possible to create an option that allows the Halo 2 soundtrack to play during multi-player/Xbox Live matches? That would be so sweet especially for someone who has disabled voice communication. It would be pretty easy to implement, no? Just assign one song per map and give the option to turn it off or on. 3. Would it be possible to mix up the weapon layout during CTF games on Ascension? It's a little unfair how the offense team starts with access to a sniper rifle, rocket launcher, and shotgun, and the other sniper rifle is in plain view of the first. [Edited on 5/22/2005]

Hey, this also happened to me twice, but I actually was playin on xbox live, once it was at beaver creek, I went to get the rockets, and when I dropped I suddenly found myslef lying death in the river, and a message appeared and it said "You were killed by the guardians", and also this once at midship I was at the platform where you get the sword and I dropped and got killed without getting shot or anything, and the same message appeared "you were killed by the guardians" I mean , what happens when this occurrs?

I've been thinking of ways to keep people from quitting during matches but there isn't one, but instead why not put the force even teams option on in all team games? This would ensure that when two of my teammates either lag out or quit in team slayer It won't be a four on two match. If I understand correctly with force even teams on a player that dies sit out until another dies. And since when your sitting out the camera follows both your enemies and team mates the team with more people will still have an advantage just not as big as one whole extra player. And one more thing, in big team battle could you do something so these 13 players games don't go on. 13 DOESN'T DIVIDE EVENLY! That means that one team outnumbers the other. I've been on the outnumbered team and oncce people realize that our team is down a player, they quit!

Hey what's up, i just wanted to ask about something that happened to me twice, i wasnt playing on x box live, but in split screen, i just fell off from my warthog at zanzibar in the ramp where the sniper is, and suddenly i died, and it wasn't a suicide, but at the screen it says "you were killed by the guardians", so i just want to know who are these guardians.

Hello i was wondering if you have a bad like router or connection and lag people out is that cheating because my friend does that all the time and he says it isnt cheating so i just wanted to get the bottom of this and see if that is considered cheating because when he lags them out of the game they go into another game and get a win so i dono please help me solve this mystery [Edited on 5/22/2005]

This really doesn't have anything to do with the update but how cool would it be to rerelease Halo CE with live enabled at the Xbox 360 launch. that would be so cool and it would make Halo the only game to launch 2 consoles. now get to work on that bungie. also, I have played many FPS and none of them has that special something that Halo has. So don't change to much. what u have really works well.

I dont know about the rest of the world, but i personally love a good glitching custom game. Don't get me wrong, i would never glitch or cheat in Matchmaking, but it's fun to bring my friends together and explore the glitches in your game. Is it possible to fix glitches in Matchmaking but not custom games?
