How rare is the "Chasing Infinity" ship?
I was thinking about the first queen's wrath event that Destiny ever had. How everyone at the time was using it to grind for ascendent shards (until one of the early hot-fixes) and motes of light. I was wondering how many people were lucky enough to get a "chasing infinity" ship to drop, and who still have it around.
I play destiny on my xbox 360 (I will migrate to xbox one later this year) and it shows my "chasing infinity" in the tower at the "ship terminal". However my brother (who plays destiny on the PS3), does not even have an entry for the ship in his terminal. Which leads me to believe that there still is no way to acquire the ship.
Which leads me to my question, just how rare is the "Chasing Infinity"?

1 ReplyHave it on my Titan if you want to have a look. Original one that I got from queen's wrath. Actually have two of them. Including helmet and chest piece for both Titan and Warlock. Oh and still have two Supremacy sniping rifles also. The ship, armor, and sniper are unattainable at this point. So you can say it's the rarest items there is.

It's ugly as sin, but I still love it and occasionally throw it on since no one, or very few, I play with has it. It's not like every other ship, where you'll see everyone with it. Since it isn't available anymore, it's something a little special. I played on the 360 then upgraded to the One.

1 ReplyI never knew of how rare it was until someone in my raid was like wow dude you have chasing infinity one of the rarest ships.. I didn't know I lt was up till last week lol. It dropped for me my first strike when the event was up in year 1.
