I'm probably biting off more than I can chew here, but why does multi-player seem to mean pvp? Specifically, mmo's? Don't get me wrong, I mean there is nothing like going head to head in the crucible, but also the same must be said when taking on the hoards of fallen, vexed, etc with friends in co-op. I get the aspect of mmo's traditionally being this way, but isn't one of bungie's goals with destiny to break the so called mold of online gaming? To go where no one has gone with social/online gaming to date? I mean, most major franchises have their own versions of deathmatch, capture the flag, etc. That being said, why is bungie so heavy with rewards towards those who excel in the crucible? I'm not saying that bungie is wrong, my suggestion would be having the reward system become more linear. If you're reading this, then you would agree bungie has really done it with how they are presenting and developing destiny. But also, one must agree that not everyone who loves online gaming is an all-star who can enter a match and 'boom goes the dynamite.' Many will never reach that level, so they stick to co-op online games. Sorry, but it's true. And, unfortunately I might add, these gamers, with the way destiny is set up, will likely never gain enough levels to receive the rewards they desire, will lose interest, and quit playing. This equates to lost customers. Not a good thing. Bungie should consider some minor tweaks here to widen their target audience. Just makes good business sense. Anyway, just my piddly two cents. :D
(Please note: I have yet to receive my copy of TTK. Cannot wait until next week! So, this feedback does not take those changes into account.)
