No Time to Explain
In order to obtain this weapon I think it could be similar to the sword quest in the way that we might have to infuse the strangers rifle to at least 280 attack in order to receive the quest line. What do you think?

2 RepliesThere is this Easter egg in the mission with cayde - 6 stash, where you find a card. He says one of the three cards represents a girl (queen of hearts) , my theory is that it is the stranger, only because in the collectors edition of The Taken King, you get a journal where he talks about an exo female doctor... I'm thinking the two are tied together, not to mention that when you enter the room it talks about "his exotics" and that they're missing... HMMMN

Edited by Zegram1010: 9/22/2015 9:00:33 AMI've been looking into this. I can tell you for sure to hold on to your marks for now, infusing gets it to 170 nothing further. I got a second strangers rifle, maxed it, then dismantled it in the hopes of getting something from it and no, nothing. 50 marks wasted. But you don't have too, gotta try doing the mission in a harder difficulty maybe, or ranking up gunsmith further. A quest needs to be obtained for it to be ascended I'm pretty sure of that, I don't think it's a drop, seems too much like a story plot point for a random drop.

Can we even infuse it? It had "Ascend" which brings it to 110 attack power last I checked
