So, can we? Are we as a society capable of grasping the fact that not all men are bad, and not all women are good? Being a man, doesn't make you a bad or good person. Your actions do. Being a woman, does not make you a good or bad person, your actions do. The same goes for race or sexuality, WHAT A HUMAN IDENTIFIES AS, WAS BORN AS, COMES FROM, ETC DOES N O T DEPICT WHO THEY ARE AS A HUMAN IN SOCIETY. Being a white straight male, does not mean you are a racist homophobic woman hating person. Being a feminist doesn't make you a good person. Being a homosexual doesn't mean you are a saint who supports everyone. Being white doesn't mean you're racist. Being of color does not mean you can degrade other poc or white people. Being a woman doesn't mean you can treat men or anyone like shit. Being a man doesn't mean you're better. Being a transgender doesn't mean you struggled and have the right to say you're better than a f*cking war veteran. Being a christian/catholic does not make you a good person. Being Aboriginal/Native does not mean you are a drunk who's on welfare. Being pro-life doesn't make you a good person. Being pro-choice doesn't make you a murderer. (Neither does having an abortion) And so on.. Things like these do not make you a better or worse person, why can't we grasp that? Who you are in society and how you treat others is what depicts whether or not you are a f*cking decent human being.
