So I have a 20GB hard drive on my Xbox 360 and need to upgrade my storage in order to continue playing destiny when the update hits and taken king releases. I've put in a storage upgrade request to activision but originally tried to use a portable drive to simply copy all my destiny content onto and use that as my hard drive for all future destiny related content. Unfortunately, when I tried to copy over the DLC's they said they could not be moved or copied. My question is will I run into the same issue with the drive I'm getting from activision? And is there a way to transfer all oft current destiny content onto the portable hard drive or the one I will receive from activision so I can play? Also a little side note is I was able to copy all of the content except the DLC's onto the portable hard drive, but when I tried to play still having the hard drive plugged in to the from USB port the game did not recognize that I owned any DLC even though on the Xbox hard drive the DLC's were still there. So it is seems clear I can't just have the new DLC on the portable drive plugged in and play because it won't recognize both at the same time.

Buy a second hard drive and attach it to your console. That's what I did, even though I didn't have a 20GB console. You will get used to the odd humming

Why would Activision give you a HDD?
