I don't mind playing with a kid for a raid. As long as they are not loud and screaming or cussing or being generally obnoxious. If you do what your supposed to and communicate like and adult there's no reason you can't play with the adults. If you join and I hear your brothers or friends screaming in the back ground amd your arguing with mom and telling me about your latest loot drop from crucible your gonna get kicked pronto. If you want to play with the adults for an hour or two for the raid you got to try and act like one for that time. I was a kid once. Everyone was I know its hard sometimes and I know the scrutiny adults can bring on kids in games. This scenario doesn't sound like you deserved it and seems like you just had a really bad experience. But don't give up not everyone acts that way. I assure you.

Sorry you had a bad experience man, I usually get a rough time (online name) but once they hear my voice and what not they calm down. I have no problem with kids, but a lot of them are annoying as -blam!- example yelling for no reason, calling everyone a stupid shit for no reason. The list goes on.

To be honest I have never witnessed this in a raid before, must be unlucky

Just listen for the oracles if you took any music class in school you shouldn't have to do callouts at all." ...... What should I have said here? Well I didn't get to say anything because Dave answered immediately by saying "Jesus Christ woman calm your tits" She immediately snaps back with "wow you sexist cursing child. Don't you dare use his name in vain!" At this point I don't know what to do! It's like reddit came to life and I just joined their fire team. I told her that saying Jesus's name doesn't make it a curse word She told me to go -blam- myself I said that if she really felt the need to curse and insult a kid she really must have got her priorities wrong. She told me that she doesn't need crinkle kids like me and Dave and kicked both of us. I see later on the forums she posts for 2 people for VOG no kids allowed. Edit 1: I know that most of you aren't like this and that I just had one bad experience, but This is just 1 of the reasons I don't like this community sometimes. I kinda just wanted to show you what some of the squeakers have to deal with. Edit 2: you guys have proven that idiots are in every age group. But I've been told that it's for the best if I avoid the older people and stick to playing with people my age. Edit 3: It's nice to see that people have some sympathy. I do have an raid group. They had just finished VOG when I got on that night. They're all people about my age so... Thanks for the offers but I'm going to stick with my group. The older people get the less tolerant they are of younger people. I know from experience. .....I'm 53. I just learn to be patient, accept my limitations and exploit my strengths and respect the people I interact with.

I started playing online when I was 12 but my voice cracked and deepened starting when I was around 11. Never had that problem but honestly it's stupid. As long as you can do your part and not yell into the mic every 2 seconds for some stupid reason then your good.

Sorry, but us older players typically generalize your entire generation as a whole. I would feel very safe to say a good 80% (if not more) of your generation would fall into the legitimately retarded category, no offense intended. Now I'm not saying that all kids are stupid, I have played with many "squeakers" in my time with Destiny. Many of them have been good players, I played Iron Banner yesterday with a kid who was in middle school, but he was pretty good at PvP. It sounds to me like you were unlucky finding that group, there are a good number of people in this game who are very rude and ignorant, but, there are that many more who are kind and willing to help out. Don't let it get you down, just keep playing.

I have, and will, continue to raid with anyone. All I ask is that when people with [i]experience[/i] speak, you listen. And that includes me. And bring decent guns. Lots of decent guns.

LOL, man, some people are way to serious when doing VOG. I can't remember the last time we actually listened for the oracles. they would go nuts playing in our raid group, way to much talking. Think the only time we are quiet in VOG is at the gorgons (heaven knows why, but each time we hit that, we all stop talking mid conversation. You were unlucky, you hit a bad group. Like all things, the goods and the bads exist.

I'm 19 idc about squeakers as long as they know what they are doing. I was a squeaker once. #Never forget squeaker life.

Sorry about that man. Some people are just plain nasty. IMO as long as you're sensible and polite and a halfway okay player then you're fine.

Oh my gosh that's awful DX not all of us are bad! I'm 26 and in my clan we have much younger (14 I believe is the youngest) and much older (way older than me :P) and from all around the world. We all play together and welcome others regardless of age, gender, or skill level. Our youngest players just the other day were mentioning being judged and harassed due to age. BUT! Some of the community is rotten as hell. Anyway, let me guess...you and 'Dave' were the better players? ;)
