Seeing as my life was over, I would risk it all to save the other people who may be with me.

I would get a bunch of vials of my infected blood then tell everyone it is the cure, then infect everyone, then have a perfect equal zombie world

If you wait to turn, then you put others at risk, even if it's for a minute. Also, if you are going to die, why not die on your own time ?

Killed right before you turn? That is not only selfish, but it's dangerous for everyone else. If you cared about anyone else, you'd want the bullet straight away.
