Before you were awoken by dinklebot, before the golden age and Earth itself... where was the traveler? I have an answer. Its theoritical of course, but here is what I think. Hundreds of millions of years ago a planet held us humans, it wasnt earth. This was before Light and Darkness were a force of nature. At the time the two words "Light" and "Darkness" were two conflicting kingdoms. And the Light had a weapon. The Guardians were forged to to fight the forces of Darkness. The Titan, brute force and a meatsheild packed into one body. Their Hammer would crush enemies, their bulky armor and sewpt back helms ment death to anyone. Hunters, were the pathfinders and combat masters. Armed with a single dagger and disguised in a cloak they will surely make a dent in the enemy forces. They also came armed with a flintlock pistol (revolutionary at the time). Warlocks were the shock troops, having simple armor and weaponry made them, not so unique but they had access to grenades... big grenades. As the war raged on, the Light and the Darkness became what we know today as forces of nature. Magic and sorcerey (spell check needed?) made the Titans Hammer a throwable projectile engulphed in flames, and make his giant sheid he would carry out into battle a pocket in the universe. Then a Titans signiture ground stomp to terrify the enemy, into a Fist of Havoc. A Hunters flintlock became a hand cannon that fired beams of starlight, his bow and arrow into a shadow shot, and his blade into a frenzy of death. The Warlock parted from their weapons and saught magic. Their grenades was a explosive projectile launched from their hands, their berserk momments of strength became radiance, then they said "why not become Emperor Palpatine in real life." This is how I belive the gaurdians were made. And that the traveler is a vessel for their light traveling from civilization to civiliazation looking for suitable host for the light, us. I belive (in the destiny universe) we were brought here by a destroyed traveler, and nownthe one hovering over our city is its successor. We are the true guardians of the Light.
